Great location.
Only thing to mark down was the shower in room, really needed replacing, as did not close properly and sealant was all black and mouldy.
This was my second time staying at The Windmill. It is a charming hotel, well located for tubes or buses into central London. Sitting on Clapham Common makes it feel extra special. The rooms also have good air conditioning which was divine in this summer heat. The beds are very comfy and lots of goodies are provided in the room.
In the room I was in this time there wasn’t a mirror near enough to a socket for hairstyling.
Location good.
Generally run down. Not well kept. Stairways, corridors scruffy. Room superficially clean, but again run down.
The breakfast was good and I had a couple of dinners there, fun place. I met some friends there and we had drinks and dinner
There really was nothing that I didn't like. For me, the location was just fine (I had a friend staying with her brother nearby) but for some, it was a bit far from London
We loved our stay at the Windmill. It’s a friendly clean and homely place well positioned in the park and easy access to all shops restaurants and transport. We stayed here instead of central London to be close to family and found it perfect for relaxing out of the busyness of central London.
The rooms are lovely but some updating of the corridors in the old part is needed.
My go to place. An oasis of calm with wonderful staff
Beautiful hotel, lovely room and very comfortable bed, overlooking Clapham Common, there were so many drink choices, snacks, beautiful glassware even champagne glasses and oat milk for my sister was much appreciated. Excellent breakfast and very convenient to Wimbledon where we enjoyed the tennis.

Very dog friendly and staff are always very nice. The pub/restaurant has a nice vibe and overall good value.

Very busy on Saturday of World Cup game but great comms from management that it might be noisy
Most things were as expected. Lack of usb ports in room.
Shower head in room was filthy and the cold water supply did not work...extremely irritating considering the room cost.
Location fab, room lovely, staff really nice. All round good stay!
The rooms could use a little TLC and a bit of a more thorough clean. Some bad spots in the bath tub and dust etc. Not a day ruiner just a note.
In a great location, the room was spacious, clean and decorated to a high standard. Everything was on point
