Due to it's wonderful town center location, The Killarney Towers Hotel does not have onsite parking.
There is a public parking lot adjacent to the property. The public car park is free between the hours of 18:00 – 08:00 Monday through Saturday, and free on Sundays and bank holidays.
Unless prior arrangements are in place, we will process payment for your stay on arrival to the hotel. The hotel requires a valid credit card to be presented upon check-in for the registering guest. The card should match the name of the reservation as made and must be presented for Chip & Pin verification. It is not possible to pre-pay for a third party guest due to GDPR and privacy restrictions. We reserve the right to receive payment or request pre-authorization of the full amount for the stay period based on the credit card details provided upon check-in. We do not accept cash payment for room reservations. We do not accept debit cards to secure rooms or for pre-authorization on check-in due to ongoing issues with releasing same. We apologize for any inconvenience this might cause guests.
Please note that the Hotel reserves the right to pre-authorize the booker’s credit card up to 4 days prior to arrival. This places the pre-authorized amount in a holding state which also temporarily reduces one’s credit limit. The pre-authorization is not a charge and no funds will be debited from the account at this point, this will also not be reflected in the credit card statement since no charge has been made. The credit limit will be released back to the cardholder within one week depending on the issuing bank.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation.

Central location
Room described as a Superior King was nothing of the sort. Small, back of hotel with a view of a wall. I complained at reception but was told the only other room was at the front of the hotel but above a noisy bar.
Location is good, its clean and nice staff
Small room, even smaller bathroom and ridiculously small shower. Our room had two single beds instead of a double when we arrived which was fine but said it to reception and they said it would be changed to and double that afternoon and it wasn’t, it was done the following morning when i said it again
Came on crutches and was moved to a room with no steps in corridor..
Pillows and bed a bit hard but fine really
Location, extremely friendly and helpful staff, excellent breakfast with very attentive personalized service and high quality food.
When you enter the hotel you have to carry your suitcases up first a couple of steps and then walk to the reception, and then after checking in you have to carry your suitcases up another maybe four or five steps to get to the elevator. There are no ramps so if you're an older or disabled person you will face some challenges. The front desk staff did not make any effort to offer assistance if needed.
This lobby must have been designed when there were porters in the lobby to carry your luggage up the various levels of the lobby.
Otherwise, the hotel was comfortable and friendly and very convenient to everything.

The hotel was fine overall, but definitely not what I expected based on the price or the way it presents itself. The lobby gives the impression that this is a much more upscale or luxurious hotel, but unfortunately that did not carry through to the room.
We booked a “Superior” room, but our window looked directly onto another building and a rooftop, with essentially no view at all. The room itself felt extremely dated and worn, and the bathroom was in need of updating as well. The shower leaked water all over the floor every time we used it, which was frustrating.
Nothing was necessarily terrible, and the stay was fine, but I think the expectations should be set differently. Between the beautiful lobby, the “Superior” room designation, and the price, we expected something considerably nicer. This is not a luxury or particularly upscale hotel experience, and I probably would have chosen somewhere else had I known what the actual rooms were like.

It is central to the town
Dated - the rooms are smaller than usual and the hotel lobby smells of cigarettes. If you open your windows you get the smell of cooking from the hotel or other properties blowing in.
I liked that it was centrally located to the restaurants, pubs and shops as it made it easy to walk to the places we wanted to see and visit in our time there.
I can't think of anything that needed to be improved We were happy with the accomodations and the breakfast choice in the morning. We would stay again if we are back in Killarney in the future.
