Pros:

The staff were absolutely lovely and couldn't do enough for us. Special mention to the staff member, I didn't get her name and am mad I didn't, working in the Dining room on the 6.8.26 during lunch. She was hands down the nicest and friendlist person I have met in hospitality for a long time.

Cons:

The room was a bit scruffy, chips of wood missing from the beside table and the bottom of the bathroom door. The walls also had paint chipping off. The front of the Hotel was not very clean ad there was broken alcohol bottles outside of it.

Bad value for money
Pros:

Staff good. Bar/restaurant was decent quality

Cons:

The hotel doesn't have quilt covers that hold in the quilt so sleeping becomes an uncomfortable mess.
On Friday morning from 7am-7:45 the industrial building behind the hotel makes a huge amount of noise when the meat delivery truck shows up. In the summer you need a window open to stay cool so a full night sleep is not possible.
The unnecessary music playing in the swimming pool was irritating but nothing compared to the problems above.
