Uneasy atmosphere
Pros:

The car parking was good, as were the staff - particularly the breakfast staff. Plenty of tea and coffee in the room and the location/stock of vending machines were good.

Cons:

The lift wasn't very reliable. The location was terrible due to the surroundings. My husband and I felt very uneasy during our stay and the atmosphere in the hotel was not one of relaxation. Don't think I'll be back to Limerick, never mind this hotel.

Das Personal war sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Wie ich es allgemein von den Iren kenne.

Cons:

Die Lage war nicht so toll. Zwar mit dem Bus, (wenn man weiss welcher) gut zu erreichen, aber neben einer gut befahrenen Strasse. Wer ein Zimmer zu dieser Strasse erwischt, kann nachts nicht sehr ruhig mit offenem Fenster schlafen, ausser man ist sich das gewöhnt.

Cons:

first floor guest could hear lots of noise, including the resident of the room above throwing up. And a disembodied piano. The food in the restaurant (not breakfast) was below par and overpriced for the quality (for example,, the ham and turkey dinner, though stated as "special", was not.

3 Star hotel that would get only 1 or max 2 stars outside of ireland.
Pros:

The breakfast was fine, but the meal we had on the evening before was on the lower side of quality. Especially the pasta for our kid was tasteless and overcooked. The lady that took our order behind the bar was nice and knew how to smile.

Cons:

Beside some of the rowdier clientele, I had to go and order the food on the counter as the service didn't pay us any attention.
The room and bath where clean, but could do with a bit of renovation.
