La proximité avec la ville, le personnel très chouette, chambre très bien.

Cons:

La propreté n’est pas comme nos standards européen, mais ca allait. Le bip de la vidéo surveillance qui résonnait dans notre chambre. Nous sommes allés l’éteindre à 23h30. Le lendemain le personnel l’a coupé à 21h30 juste pour nous

Het beste hotel in Sri Lanka tot nu toe!!

We verbleven hier 4 nachten en genoten van een prachtige kamer met voldoende voorzieningen. Na een welkomsdrankje genoten we van de heerlijke douche en het uitzicht!! De douche heeft een goede straal en is lekker warm. Het personeel is geweldig!! Wij zijn in het bijzonder heel tevreden over de service van Charuka. Hij bracht ons naar de Ella rock en gaf ons een watervallen tour. Charuka zijn Engels is heel goed en we hebben veel van elkaar geleerd. De locatie van het hotel is ook top, met 5 minuten sta je in het gezellige Ella. Het hotel biedt een tuktuk service en we hebben onze kleding laten wassen wat heerlijk rook. Ook het ontbijt verdient 5 sterren, we kregen elke ochtend iets nieuws en de kok liet ons Sri lankaanse gerechten proeven. Conclusie: dit hotel verdient 6 sterren.

Toilet cistern leaking on bathroom floor. No bath mat. No working lift. No room service. Rubbish was not collect. Ants in the room to eat the rubbish.

The Perfect Spot in Ella
Pros:

The Peak Ella was a beautiful place to stay! It was really handy to town and the staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and helpful. In particular, Nimesha, on the front desk, went out of her way to ensure we were having a good stay.

Pros:

The staff at The Peak Ella are incredibly friendly. Usually, the relationship between tourists and hotel staff is strictly business, limited just to the booking. But The Peak Ella is different. The employees and managers went above and beyond, treating us like family and providing service that was worth far more than what we paid. Plus, the location beautifully showcases the true Sri Lankan identity. As someone who has traveled to several countries, I am absolutely delighted with this trip.

What an amazing stay! From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. Every member of the staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and always ready to make my stay comfortable.

We had a wonderful stay! The breakfast was delicious with a good variety of options. The view was absolutely stunning and made our stay even more enjoyable. The room and the entire property were very clean and well maintained. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended, and we would love to stay here again!

Room may not have a view!
Pros:

Beautiful view where breakfast is served on the rooftop. Elevator available. Friendly staff. Close enough to the main strip and easily walkable. Excellent water pressure.

Cons:

Mattresses were old and uncomfortable, whole room was pretty old and needs a renovation. Some sheets were dirty upon arrival but were quickly changed. We had the family room and there is no mountain view. I wish the pictures were taken with the curtains open so one can know what view to expect. I suppose this was intentional. The whole point we booked this hotel was thinking we would get a nice view. We paid for the more expensive family room only to be disappointed when we stepped out onto the patio.

Brilliant facilities, stunning location and the friendliest staff we have come across - highly recommend!
Pros:

The best stay of our Sri Lanka trip so far. The room was lovely and comfortable with a stunning view. The property is in an excellent location, a 5/10 minute walk from the town centre yet it feels quiet and peaceful. Our main takeaway was the staff who were incredibly helpful and friendly - in particular Charuka and Nimisha. We cannot recommend this property more.

The only issue we had was the shower didn’t drain properly so the floor would flood
