The only good part about this hotel is the location. It is right across the street from the airport - a 2 min taxi ride to the airport terminal
The facility smells - the carpets are really old and they have a strong odor. We were shown 2 different rooms and the bad odor was over-powering as soon as you walked in. The staff member who showed us the 2 rooms also agreed that the carpets were giving a strange odor. She then said they would find us a room that didnt smell - they simply sprayed a room freshener in a 3rd room and turned the AC on to circulate the air.
The AC is not reliable - the air conditioning just conked off in the middle of the night. All of us woke up drenched in sweat.
The bedding/ pillow had some pointed thing poking out of it - which I didnt notice at the time of going to bed. But when I woke up in the middle of the night to fix the AC, I got a long cut in my arm because of the pointed thing in the pillow.
The staff were excellent and extremely supportive, specifically reception staff in the late night. When my son fell seriously ill at around 2 a.m., they promptly connected us with a doctor, arranged transport, and helped us get him to the emergency department at Apollo Hospital.
The next morning, the manager and staff personally checked on him and ensured we were comfortable before our afternoon flight. The breakfast was also excellent. We truly appreciate their care, prompt assistance, and hospitality.
What I didn’t like was not the hotel’s fault. It happened to be a dry day, but when you visit a city or destination to enjoy yourself, any kind of restriction can take away from the overall experience.
