Een bijzondere accommodatie die heel mooi tussen de rijstvelden is gelegen en bijna uitzicht biedt op de Leeuwenrots. Een mooie uitvalsbasis om Sigirya en omstreken te verkennen. Personeel is buitengewoon vriendelijk en bereid te helpen of te informeren over mogelijkheden wat te doen en hoe er naar toe te reizen!
De kamers zijn basic qua aankleding en ook de badkamers zijn basaal qua voorzieningen en zeker geen luxe. De faciliteiten waaronder het zwembad zijn wel aan enig onderhoud toe. De omgeving en ligging compenseren hierin…
Ontzettend vriendelijk personeel. Heel betrokken en gastvrij. Enorm grote kamer, fijn zwembad. We hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad. Centrum is prima te belopen. Het lijkt allemaal verder dan het daadwerkelijk is. En ander doet de tuktuk er 5 min over.

Super emplacement au calme avec le bruit des animaux mais non loin du centre ville (10 min à pied) Personnels très accueillants et bienveillants !

La chambre pourrait être un peu plus propre, il y a de nombreuses toiles d’araignées, et de bêtes sur les moustiquaires, ainsi que le linge de lit.

L'établissement est tenu par deux frères qui feront tout pour que vous soyez bien. Ils sont d'une gentillesse incroyable. On a adoré ce logement pour arriver au Sri Lanka.
Ils proposent un service repas, machines pour le linge. Ils ont fabriqué des cannes à pêche pour que mon fils aille pêcher au lac. Nous avons apprécié la piscine après des chaudes journées.

Prachtige locatie aan meer en rijstvelden, goede kamers, leuk zwembad, zowel voor ons als de kinderen heerlijke plek. De eigenaar en zijn neef waren zo hulpvaardig en begaan, echt fantastisch!

Fantástica estancia entre los arrozales de Sigiriya!
El hotel está ubicado a solo 5 minutos de la calle principal de Sigiriya y muy cerca de la Roca de Sigiriya. El entorno es precioso y muy tranquilo, rodeado de arrozales y a pocos pasos del lago.
La habitación era amplia, muy limpia y la cama contaba con mosquitera, lo que se agradece mucho. La piscina es muy agradable, perfecta para refrescarse después de un día de excursiones.
El desayuno estaba delicioso y se adaptan al horario que necesites para prepararlo. Además, el dueño es una persona encantadora: muy amable, servicial y siempre dispuesto a ayudar. Nos consiguió una moto de alquiler y nos ayudó con todo lo que necesitamos durante nuestra estancia.
Sin duda, recomendamos este alojamiento. ¡Le deseamos todo lo mejor y esperamos volver algún día!

Brothers Kasun and Pathu at Bungalow Resort were amazing hosts and extremely helpful with suggestions and organisation. They order food in from a nearby restaurant Nirwana, also run by the family and delivered at no extra cost. The food was so good and flavoursome that we chose to eat in several times. The one time we ate elsewhere reminded us how good the Nirwana food was. They were helpful in organising excursions without any pressure. Room and bathroom were great, beds with mosquito net comfortable, aircon effective, and pool was great. Also a lovely location beside a lake for birdwatching or walking. A top place indeed.
Diese Unterkunft ist ein absoluter Traum! Wir haben dort 3 Nächte mit 4 Personen (darunter 2 Kinder) verbracht und waren wunschlos glücklich. Die Betten inklusive Moskitonetz waren herrlich bequem und der Pool immer blitzsauber. Das Frühstück ließ keine Wünsche offen – es gab alles, was das Herz begehrt, und der Host ging sogar auf individuelle Extrawünsche ein.Der Gastgeber war unglaublich freundlich und organisierte uns problemlos Taxis, Ausflüge und eine Safari zu einem tollen Preis. Auch der Wäscheservice und der Lieferservice für Mittag- und Abendessen funktionierten einwandfrei. Die Lage ist perfekt: ruhig direkt am See und nur etwa 900 Meter von Restaurants und Shops entfernt. Der wunderschöne Garten gleicht einem kleinen Paradies mit vielen Obstbäumen und wilden Tieren wie Pfauen, Waranen und besonderen Vögeln. Wir kommen definitiv wieder!

Die Unterkunft hatte einen großen Pool allerdings waren dort einige Fliesen kaputt und man konnte sich daran schneiden, kein Kühlschrank

Dit is een TOP homestay! De eigenaar Kasun en zijn broer Pathum zijn GEWELDIG! Ze zijn zo ontzettend vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Geen vraag is hen te veel. Het ontbijt was lekker, mooie ruime kamer en verfrissend zwembad. Fantastische locatie ook. Op enkele minuten rijden van de leeuwenrots en vele restaurants.
Alojamiento perfecto para quedarte en Sigiriya. La habitación era muy amplia y tenía todo lo necesario, incluido aire acondicionado y mosquitera. Además cuenta con una piscina estupenda que nos vino muy bien para el calor que hacía. Pero sobre todo queremos destacar la amabilidad de los anfitriones, que nos trataron de 10 y estuvieron todo el rato preocupados por que estuviésemos lo mejor posible.
