Red Hat Snail

Seogwipo and the Red Hat Snail hotel; you have a piece of our hearts. We adored this hotel. The Red Hat Snail provided a perfectly peaceful stay. We couldn't believe our luck that we had booked the Red Hat Snail - it was beautifully appointed in an understated way that felt homely and exquisite at the same time; it had a really lovely boutique feel. We've included photos but don't think they do it justice.
It provided us with the pause we needed after a fairly hectic tour around SK at this point. The room was beautifully clean and comfortable with everything we needed. We found the beds very comfortable, the bathroom was lovely with a superb shower. We had a stunning sea view and of the local neighbourhood from our balcony.
What we also liked were that there were lounge areas available for use to relax/eat in. Great spaces which were really considered to support a relaxing stay. There was also a guest laundry if needed.
We loved the locality which was close to beautiful independent restaurants and cafes. It was also within walking distance to the Maille Olle Market/harbour/waterfalls etc. Note, it is hilly here, however, taxis are easy to come by and cheap if required. The neighbourhood was also special being close to the Lee Jung Seop street which we didn't realise until we arrived. There were lovely little independent stores nearby with the loveliest of vendors. This really is a special area and we would come back in a heartbeat.
We recommend visiting the restaurant Subseom_jeju (Instagram account) - it is around the corner with a sign outside saying Korean Bistro. The food is 'stunning!' with sensational flavours and is some of the best food I have had in a very long time.
We had a fabulous breakfast both days at 'Lavarr'. A beautiful cafe with a wonderful family history just a 5 minute walk away.
Red Hat Snail offered a perfect location and a very comfortable stay.

Put a thermo in the room so that customers can store hot water for consumption or making tea.

I loved this hotel so much! It's cute, clean, modern and overall super cosy. I had a great view gein my balcony, the staff were super friendly and helpful, and for AU$5 I could wash and dry a load of clothes. I wished I could have stayed longer.

The room is very new and big. You can smell the pine wood when you enter level 1. Towel is like fresh from "oven" brand new. Location is near Maelli Olle Market. There are dining room,, laundry room, reading room at level 2. Reception is at level 2. Security is good as guest need to key password to enter the building. Will definitely stay here if back to Jeju.

The rooms were very clean and well thought-out. Some reviews talk about small towels but now the hotel provides bigger bath towels. Loved the tea & water & amenities in the lounge and the inviting vibes. Very quiet, great location, wonderful views from the balcony.

Mnóstwo uroczych ślimaków. Lokalizacja obok dużego targu Olle Market. Dużo źródeł światła w pokoju. Cały obiekt czysty i nowoczesny. Wspólne części z mikrofalą, ekspresem do kawy i miejscami do wygodnego spożycia posiłku. Pralnia. Wśród udogodnień dla gości są nawet przedłużacze, ładowarki i przejściówki.
