Awesome stay, would love to come back again
Pros:

Room was very spacious, interiors were beautiful and the balcony was cherry on the top. Bed was really comfortable. They cleaned the room daily. The best thing about our stay was the breakfast, it was really delicious. Pool was also clean and well maintained

Cons:

Service can be a bit better. Had to go down to reception for water.
Location is great with cafes nearby but the main road is not easy to walk

Pros:

Miriam at front desk was helpful.

Cons:

Expensive drinks. 1500 lkr for lime soda when it costs 850 lkr next door at samba.
Staff refused to serve coffee after 3 pm saying kitchen is shut. Serving coffee isn't exactly kitchen work.

Very nice hotel!
Pros:

The room was extremely comfortable and modern. The breakfast was very nice and staff were helpful. I definitely recommend to stay here! Definitely one of the nicer hotels we stayed in during our Sri Lanka trip.

Cons:

A little bit far from the main town and needed to get a tuk tuk there.
Towels weren’t changed during our stay

Pros:

The hotel was perfect, we only stayed on night but it was exactly what we wanted. Beautiful rooms, gorgeous interiors and extremely comfortable beds. The hotel manager was very friendly and helpful in guiding us on where to go. The complimentary breakfast was exceptional. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location.
Pros:

We had a fantastic stay at The Jam House. All the staff were super friendly and helpful the whole time. Location is fab as it is just a short 10-15 minute walk into the main town of Ahangama, but it is nice to be a little bit out of the busy part of town. The hotel is set back from the road so it isn’t noisy from the buses & tuk tuks. Would really recommend and would stay again if I visit Ahangama. We were a group of 5 who were spending the week surfing, Pilates & chilling. It was the perfect base for us to do all of those things.

Old and basic - pictures don’t match the current condition

Bedding in the room was damp and smelt bad

Balcony room doesn’t look over the sea as per images, it just looked into the car park.
