Alvito Guest House - Comfortable room with private bathroom

I had a very pleasant stay. The property was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully furnished. Although the listing is described as a room with a private bathroom, that title doesn't really do it justice. It's actually an open space on the second level of a small house, and the entire area is exclusively yours. The bedroom has a door that can be locked for privacy, and while the bathroom is small, it is also completely private.

The kitchen is shared, but it is very well organized. I had my own drawer with dishes, and the complimentary coffee and tea were very much appreciated in the mornings.

The host was very friendly, helpful, and easy to communicate with throughout my stay. I also appreciated how quiet the neighborhood was. Occasionally, you can hear planes flying from Lisbon Airport, but that's simply the trade-off for such a convenient location and it didn't bother me.

The property is located on a hill, but I didn't find that to be an issue because Bolt and Uber are very affordable in Lisbon, so I simply took a ride whenever I headed out for the day.

Overall, it was a comfortable, clean, and well-organized place, and I would happily recommend it.

Excellent hosts, location, facilities. I was surprised how quiet it was at night, being in the heart of the city. The airport cuts way back on flying overhead at night and I was never woken by a plane.flying overhead.
Upon revisiting Lisbon, I'll plan to stay again.
