Pros:

Siamo arrivati la sera con il buio, sembrava deserto e abbiamo avuto qualche difficoltà per arrivare. L'indomani mattina invece sembrava di essersi svegliati in un luogo completamente diverso! Pieno di turisti, panorama fantastico, un borgo molto bello! La colazione ci ha stupiti, molto ricca e con prodotti fatti in casa.

Come vivere in una fiaba
Pros:

Mi è piaciuto tantissimo la disposizione delle camere, tutte su questa ambientazione caratteristica, tra piante e luci, tavolini all'aperto, sembrava di vivere come ai vecchi tempi, con tante casine tutte raggruppate dove un tempo certamente vivevano e si conoscevano tutti. Non è facile da descrivere a parole, è da vedere! Il personale è stato così gentile, infine Castiglione è un borgo molto bello, vale davvero la pena visitarlo. Al castello di Lauria c'è un panorama mozzafiato.

Pros:

The place is unique. You may have great experiene of feeling life in middleages.
Nearby is very good restaurant and castle which is must to see with great view on Etna and Alcantara valley.
The history of the place is very interesting and it is worth to read about that and walk through the narrow streets for outstanding experience.
Extremely quiet place, great for rest.
Close proximity to Alcantara and Etna.

Cons:

Mattresses could be changed for better comfort of the guests in room no 107 (room for 4 persons)
You need to keep in mind that there are many stairs and it is not easy to carry your luggage if it is big. Neverthelless we got some help with that.

Great place to stay at a very reasonable price. Nice comfortable bed with great breakfast and coffee

We loved everything about this place and wished we could have stayed longer. The host was very welcoming and professional, the room very large and comfortable with nice shower and bathroom. Really quiet location so we had a great nights sleep, very restful. Nice breakfast with good choice and great coffee. The room also had a lovely view with a terrace and outdoor seating. Authentic village experience with lots to do in the surrounding area. Will definately visit again and stay longer next time!
