Very happy with overall experience
Pros:

Excellent staff. Value for money. They even sent to our room a complimentary sparkling wine and piece of cake to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Great choice of items in breakfast. Comfortable stay. Walking 25-30 min to river side. Taxi way back only costs €4 or so.

Un oasis en el desierto de Oporto
Pros:

El hotel está situado en la parte alta del centro de Oporto, con lo que hay que tenerlo en cuenta. Hay cerca una estación de metro aunque para bajar al centro se puede ir perfectamente andando (el problema es la vuelta).
El hotel es nuevo (2 años) y se nota. Todo está perfecto, las habitaciones son amplias y cómodas. La cama, excelente. También agradecer que era el único lugar de todo Oporto que visitamos donde el aire acondicionado funcionaba perfectamente, lo que hacia que la estancia fuera aún más confortables, ya que llegamos en plena ola de calor (temperaturas de hasta 40ºC por el dia y alrededor de 30ºC por las noches) y los establecimientos de la ciudad no están preparados para estas temperaturas.
El desayuno es correcto. Hay un cocinero preparando huevos de 8 formas diferentes (desde revueltos a benedict) aunque podría tener algo de ayuda ya que se puede llegar a hacer cola de varios minutos. El bufet es suficientemente variado y de gran calidad. El café, es mejorable, pero correcto.

Cons:

Habría estado bien que estuviera algo más cerca del centro, pero eso es imposible.
