We had a fleeting visit, but found the property met all expectations. Lovely check -in and room.
we knew we would be late for dinner, as our flight was delayed. We pre-placed our order telephonically with the receptionist. Upon arriving at the restaurant, the first thing we were told was that the chef was very cross at being kept late... not something you want to hear as a paying guest. The website menu and the times of the kitchen need to be updated.

A pretty little riverside village which makes a good stop-over around an hour and a half from Lisbon
- Um bom refúgio para quem quer usufruir de descanso, natureza e piscina. A zona da piscina é muito bonita.
- Ficar num castelo é uma experiência muito engraçada, com a possibilidade de visitar vários recantos. A pousada soube usufruir bem do espaço.
- Quartos com uma dimensão muito agradável, assim como os quartos de banho. Varandas com uma vista muito bonita e muito agradáveis.
Fui cliente do hotel durante mais de 10 anos consecutivos. Já não visitava há quase 20.
Fiquei surpreendida (pela negativa). O hotel/manutenção ficou parado no tempo. Continua a ser um bom refúgio para quem procura sossego, nisso não falhou, mas, para o preço, ficou muito aquém.
Paredes a descascar, colchão de cama muito mole, almofadas terríveis - cama muito desconfortável. Candeeiros com abajur manchados de tão antigos. Sem comodidades, nem chinelos são oferecidos no quarto.
Insonorização terrível - ouviam-se as televisões dos outros quartos, sempre que alguém abria e fechava as cortinas.
Piscina: falta de limpeza. Cheia de verdete nas paredes, claramente não era limpa. Assim como a quantidade de insetos mortos, não havia nenhum funcionário a usar a rede.
Pequeno-almoço: muito fraco. Uma enorme falta de variedade e de qualidade. Ananás descascado completamente preto de tão oxidado; num dia ofereciam um bolo e , como sobraram fatias, no dia seguinte repuseram as 3 fatias restantes. Queijos já com bordas amareladas de estarem tanto tempo ao ar, e moles.
Serviço de piscina sem servir almoços, apenas tostas que demoraram imenso tempo a serem feitas. O hotel tinha muito poucos clientes, portanto acho que demoras não era justificado.
O hotel precisa urgentemente de uma reforma. No entanto, para o objetivo (descansar e usufruir de silêncio e natureza) não desiludiu.
O castelo é maravilhoso, uma experiência imperdível.

La transformation en hôtel est magnifique. Un mélange heureux entre contemporain et lieu historique. Notre chambre était d’une bonne grandeur et les lits très confortables. Digne d’un quatre étoiles! Plusieurs salons sont accessibles pour la lecture et la détente. Tous bien décorés et invitant. La salle de déjeuner est bien aménagée et le déjeuner est très bon avec produits frais et café de qualité. Terrasse accessible pour profiter du beau temps même au petit déjeuner.
La localisation est moins intéressante. Je n’aurais pas passé plus d’une nuit à cet endroit. Le prix des chambres est peut-être un peu exagéré…
