Had a wonderful stay at Ronda Hotel Boutique by Chat Noir, a charming and intimate boutique hotel in the heart of Cuenca. The hotel is small but beautifully designed, with an eclectic vibe and cozy shared spaces that feel personal rather than corporate.
The location is perfect: just four blocks from Parque Calderón and a short walk to the New Town area, the Tomebamba River, and Parque de la Madre. I could explore the city on foot, easily finding restaurants, coffee shops, and attractions like Museo Catedral Vieja and Museo de las Culturas Aborigenes. My room was clean and comfortable, and had fast Wi-Fi and all the amenities. Breakfast was excellent which was tasty, plentiful, and varied.
Overall, Ronda Hotel Boutique by Chat Noir delivered a warm, authentic boutique experience with great service, a fantastic location, comfortable rooms, and super economical rates. We’d happily return and strongly recommend it to anyone visiting Cuenca.

Central location, amazing room, astonishing bed, super clean, free laundry, free water, budget price. This place was superb and totally worth it!
In central area. They kept my luggage while I travelled to Galapagos. Free tea and water. Good breakfast
My main problem was with heating. I chosen this hotel because they offer heating. But heater in my room and according to staff they have only one and it was use in other room. Room has window to the corridor - you can hear everything what happened there

Location.
The room had a strong artificial scent, visible dust from ongoing work on every floor, which caused eye irritation. Cats were in the common areas. The stairs were steep and not suitable for guests with mobility or balance concerns. I left after one night. No refund was offered; only a room at another property was proposed, which I declined
