Cons:

Difficultés pour se garer les parkings ne sont pas a côté de l hôtel et les places qui se trouvent à proximité sont toujours prises.

Pros:

Petit hôtel très confortable et propre. Accueil chaleureux et attentionné. Vue sur le château de la chambre et ambiance café pour le petit déjeuner. Idéal pour observer l'éclipse de soleil des rives de la Maine.

Pros:

Emplacement idéal pour visiter la vieille ville ou ville nouvelle, mais surtout la vue sur le château ! Chambre propre et confortable. Bonus : un accueillant super chaleureux et convivial qui fait qu'on veut y revenir si de passage à Angers. Et le petit-déjeuner excellent venu tout droit de la boulangerie à côté. Bref, ne cherchez pas plus loin, venez chez Marguerite d'Anjou !

Wonderful hotel in great location and great value too.
Pros:

Loved our stay! Everything worked well especially the AC when it got to 100F wonderful location and view of Castle, Baked goods for breakfast were perfect. Hosts are helpful and welcoming. Great value too.

We came back for Samy
Pros:

We returned to the Hôtel Marguerite d’Anjou for one very special reason: Samy. His warmth, humor, and genuine hospitality made our first stay unforgettable, and seeing him again felt less like returning to a hotel and more like visiting a friend. Christophe and Pierre-Louis have something very special in Samy—he’s the kind of person who turns first-time guests into returning ones.

Excellent stay at a great location with fantastic staff.
Pros:

Extremely friendly staff, helpful in every regard (we got a lot of advice on what to visit, where it was, etc...), very nice location to visit Angers, very clean, generous luggage deposit service.

Cons:

Overall we had a great experience. The only small point of criticism is the lack of (permanent) common room. We were 5 and booked 2 rooms, which were perfect for sleeping, but too small to hang out with 5 people, so we would have loved it if there had been some kind of common room to hang out before sleep time. Although we were allowed to use the lovely veranda from the café downstairs (which serves as breakfast place in the morning) until closing time, there was no access to it between 20:00h and breakfast time. This is no issue if travelling with only adults, as there are many bars close by, but a bit more inconvenient with children, especially if they have different ages and sleep requirements.
