Skønt hotel
Pros:

Skøn beliggenhed nær slottet, i historisk bygning. Vandrerute udenom bymuren lige ved hotellet. Fantastisk udsigt over landskabet fra værelset. Venligt personale.

Cons:

Morgenmadsbuffet uden adgang til håndsprit eller handsker.

Hidden Extras and not 4 star
Pros:

The spa area and swimming. Continental breakfast.

Cons:

Room was very basic for the price we paid. Definitely would not say 4 star hotel. The cooked breakfast was mostly hard with lying under the heat lamps so not fresh. Didn't find out cost of dog was £25 per night, parking £10 per night and swimming £10 per stay till after booking. This should be made very clear at advert stage. We had to leave dog with friends after finding out price. Asked for room Not to be set up for dog yet it was.

Staff ok but basic service

Decent but value doesn’t match the price paid.
Pros:

The location was good and the setting was lovely.

Cons:

The facilities access was misleading as the pool & hot-tub facility that is promoted on the website aren’t actually available without paying an additional fee to access it that isn’t reasonable. Also, our floor wasn’t accessible by elevator as it was a ‘between’ somehow that required stairs either way.

Pros:

It was a break away. That was needed
Pros:

It was close to town

Cons:

Parking. Theres a dip when coming out of the car park which has damaged our car. I didn't want to put it back in there the night after as we now need to replace the splitter on the car as the driveway is too sharpe a sign up saying lower vehicles not to proceeds might help

Betten recht weich.

Nice but found the evening disappointing due to the restaurant being
Pros:

The location and historical building was great

Cons:

The restaurant was closed when we were there. Limited seating in the small bar only for a meal. Limited choice in the bar for drinks .
Also it didn’t say it was £10 a day parking charge till after I booked. The advert on booking.com was miisleading.

Ubicación ideal, habitación decepcionante
Pros:

Poor value from a major hotel
Pros:

Scruffy room and no lift. Hate the shower with plastic curtain that clings. Annoyed to have a ten quid additional car parking fee. Good food. Overall would expect to pay half what we did.

Cons:

As abive
