Nice place but not clean
Pros:

Staff amazing. Very quirky building and dinner was amazing. Great location.

Cons:

The rooms are dated which is fine - but no excuse for poor cleanliness. See photos of bathroom.

Would not recommend to anyone with limited mobility issues.
Pros:

It was in central area

Cons:

The entrance to hotel is very confusing. Stairway very steep from street entrance and not very clear instructions to reception area. Lift number is not clear it states ground. Fist and minis one when actual it goes to third level for room assess. Food selection very limited.

A beautiful old hotel in the very city centre
Pros:

The Highland Hotel is a beautiful auld building just in the city centre. The personel was kind and helpful, room service great.

Cons:

The hotel is rather expensive, even though that is true for most Scottish hotels... As a consequence, my room (the cheapest one) did not have cooking facilities. A pity combination.

Pros:

Good location.

Cons:

Rooms tired and breakfast only average. Parking was expensive and gym was advertised but then when we got there you had to pay extra to use it.

Lovely historical hotel
Pros:

The hotel was beautiful with a large room and comfortable bed. Located close to everything I wanted to see

Cons:

The elevator did not take me to my floor so I had to take it one floor higher and then take my bag down instead of up. It worked…

A lovely stay in a great location
Pros:

Location and staff friendliness

Cons:

Entrance from the road was not well sign posted, a sign to direct to the car park for step free access would have helped
