It has a very nice atmosphere. Glad we chose to stay there.
Pros:

Although the building was destroyed during the war, it has been renovated while preserving its original form. It evokes the same feeling.
Also the library!
Please keep your expectation based on the 3-start ;)

Cons:

The pool in the middle was empty. Would be nice to have it active.

Beautiful castle experience with some remarks
Pros:

When you drive up to the castle it looks very impressive and it is. You’re being greeted by a massive metal door and a loud doorbell and once inside the garden is beautiful and the views are amazing. Staff is very friendly. The rooms are clean, spacious and the bathrooms are very good too. The library is truly a gem with century old books and really brings you back in time. The dining area is gorgeous and you truly get that chateau feeling wherever you are in the building. Price quality is really good.

Cons:

- The garden has Ikea looking sunbeds and plastic seating areas which are completely out of place for such an amazing environment.
- The pond has some leftover rainwater in it and looks sad.
- The mattresses on the beds are very soft which gave me lower back pain when I woke up (I never suffer from backache).
- There’s a storage area outside in the garden with heaps of plastic furniture which also take away from the magic this place has. It would be easy to cover it from sight.

Pros:

Ein außerordentlich gut erhaltenes Answesen mit einem grandiosen, fantastischen Ausblick. Das ist kaum zu beschreiben. Sehr nette Gastgeber und eine einladende Atmosphäre. Hier lohnt sich eine Übernachtung. Das Frühstück war super. Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

Cons:

Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Das Abendesssen war auch toll, nur leider sehr teuer.

Bijzondere plek voor een tussenstop
Pros:

Fantastische plek, heerlijk buiten kunnen zitten in de grote tuin, uitstekend gegeten in het restaurant, ontbijt op het terras.

Cons:

Bediening in het restaurant was niet echt vlot, maar verder alleen maar een positieve ervaring!
