When you open a place like The Brown the first impression is the one you keep, the hotel is wonderful but we had a bad welcome at the hotel the lady that check us in did not say hello did not say “ welcome “ and all the checking process was not pleasant she was rude , she is the window of your bussiness i would buy a smile to all the front desk staff , you need it specially with the prices that you practice,and the 2 miles or so to get to the hotel were terrible you can maybe spend some money to ciment that road.

Uno de los hoteles más bellos que he conocido en Colombia
Pros:

La Infraestructura del Hotel es espectacular; la ubicación dentro del Embalse de Guatapé, inigualable. Es realmente un hotel increíble con unos jardines excepcionales y una vista de no creer. Los dos restaurantes tienen una carta de nivel internacional y el servicio de los meseros es estupendo.

Cons:

La gente del lobby al momento del check-in, al igual que el concierge, encargado de las actividades, muy displicente. Es una lástima, porque en un hotel de esta categoría, el huésped esperaría que estos colaboradores hubiesen tenido formación en servicio al cliente. Así que, en general, el hotel extraordinario pero el servicio en el lobby, detestable.

Pros:

El servicio es expecional, el personal esta siempre dispuesto a brindar la mejor experiencia. La comida en el restaurante es deliciosa.

Cons:

El espacio dentro de las instalaciones es muy reducido para la cantidad de habitaciones. La zona húmeda es el único espacio de esparcimiento y hay muy pocas sillas proporcionalmente a los huéspedes.

Buena. Por el precio tan alto, la habitación no es excelente.
Pros:

La ubicación es excelente . El personal es muy amable. La comida es excelente.

Cons:

El baño es muy estrecho.
Hace falta una silla dentro de la habitación.

Food was delicious, rooms were very clean and had very nice amenities

Cons:

The jacuzzis didn’t heat up and the staff was very rude when asked about it; also food and drinks where crazy expensive 16.000 pesos for a bottle of water is insane

The view from the hotel

Cons:

Everything was bad handled bad services bad breakfast bad food bad staff even bad security guard and night manager shift. We couldn’t sleep until 5am because of the guest next door to us were playing music high volume. We asked the hotel to do something and they did not nothing but proposing me at 3am to change the room(!). Next morning as compensation for what happened they offer me a 50% discount on next reservation knowing that coming from Italy I would never use such a refunding.
I strongly advised not to go there because you will totally unsatisfied.
