The location was great
Staff didn't know the parking rules for the street
Loved the location, as well as the beautiful quaint historic architecture. The family that runs the hotel were very friendly and helpful.
Other reviews mention the poor internet connectivity. Although there was that, seemed to me it’s because of the thick, 1-1.5 foot thick, interior adobe walls. Wifi just couldn’t adequately penetrate walls and floors. Staff conveniently moved me to a different room, with a little bit better connectivity, and I was able to make do, periodically stepping out of the room to reconnect.
Staff was a little inconsistent. The couple/family thatsd checked me in and out were attentive, helpful, and professional. Seems they had a day off. The replacement staff member just seemed to do the absolute minimum. The “24/7” hot beverage service was not maintained, breakfast not prepared in timely manner, etc.

El hotel está muy bien ubicado a pocas cuadras del centro histórico de la ciudad. Las habitaciones son limpias y hay agua caliente.
Casa de Aguila hace más de 10 años era un hermoso hotel boutique con una excelente atención. Ahora es todo lo contrario; la cadena que lo adquirió (NASS) lo está dejando decaer sin dar un adecuado mantenimiento, invertir en su conservación y cuidar su personal. Es notaria la falta de personal, los empleados doblan turnos y eso se evidencia en el pésimo servicio al cliente. Los espacios comunes están llenos de polvo y es notorio que por años no se ha reparado el mobiliario. Booking nos dio un muy buen precio por la estadía, pero no justifica la mala calidad del servicio al cliente y el deterioro de las instalaciones. Recomiendo no ir a este hotel y seguramente al resto de hoteles de esta cadena.
La ubicación, desayuno, el personal todo excelente pero solo una pequeña recomendación podrían cambiar de ubicación el armario para tener más espacio estábamos casi al tope con el armario y la cama. De ahí todo excelente. Bendiciones
