Die Lage war am besten
Das Zimmer war extrem staubig vom Heizkörper über den Kasten Leisten über dem Bett, Lampenschirm im Zimmer sowie im Gang
Duschkabienengitter völlig verdreckt sowie der Abzug im Bad ekelig.
Personal wenig bis kaum vorhandene Motivation nicht besonders freundlich.
Bei der Ankunft das gleiche man hat ein schlechtes Gewissen das man die Unterhaltung des Personals stört.Das Gesamtbild lässt eine fehlende Führung bzw.Kontrolle dieses Hotels vermuten.Schade ansich schöne Räumlichkeiten.

Parkplatz öffentlich, in der Nähe und gebührenpflichtig. Der Empfang war freundlich. Leider war der Lift defekt und wir mussten unser Gepäck selber in die 3. Etage über eine steile Treppe hochtragen. Das Zimmer war ruhig und bot eine tolle Aussicht. Die Betten waren für uns gut (wer weich mag). Das Licht im Zimmer war nicht effizient. Frühstück war ok und von guter Qualität. Leider hat die Frühstücksfrau durch Abwesenheit geglänzt. Tische waren nicht abgräumt, die Kaffemaschine war leer und das Buffet wurde nicht aufgefüllt.

Although present for breakfast at 8:30, the breakfast buffet was not fresh, pancakes stale, scrambled eggs had a crust and the tableclothes on the buffet tables had holes, were dirty, and stained. The coffee machine was dirty. The peanutbutter dried out…
Personal however was very friendly and kind.
There was work on the lift and we stayed at the top floor room. Maintenance left a huge mess in the corridor when we arrived in the evening. We had to almost step over their tools to reach our room. The next morning they woke us up with loud conversations just outside our door at 6:45. A gentle nudge did not help.
The location was superb. Some people would say the decoration needs updating but it has a feeling of the past which brings gives more character to the hotel . The staff were very pleasant. The views from our room were beautiful.
The lift doesn’t work, we had to carry a suitcase 2 flights of steep stairs. Some parts need re-decorating though.

Location of the hotel was superb because it was right next to the train station and the staff upgraded us up to the deluxe room for free. I also enjoyed the continental breakfast.
The elevator was broken and I had to climb up and down the stairs every single time but it wasn’t a big deal

Kamer was koud. Erg gehorig. Badkamer was in een bezemkast (vanaf de deur 50 cm tot de wastafel en links van de wastafel 50 cm tot de douche). Douchecreme leeg. Ontbijtbuffet eenvoudig. Geen koffiemelk, geen zoetjes. Vier soorten plakken kaas, drie soorten vlees. Eieren lagen lang te sudderen in rechauds.
Excellent location within easy walking distance of the town centre and just across the bridge from the railway station.
Good, varied buffet breakfast.
Friendly staff on site until 11pm who helped with sorting out the street parking payment.
The lift was out of order and the stairs were very steep. (Help with our bags was offered).
mooie ruime kamers, propere badkamer en douche, goed bed, de ligging is echt ideaal dicht bij het centrum op wandelafstand zelf mooi uitzicht op het kanaal, het eten in de bistro naast het hotel was wel lekker
kamer 218 had een hoge plafond en er zaten 2 enorm dikke spinnen persoonlijke angst haha voor de rest het ontbijt was hectisch vrij klein, het personeel in de bistro ernaast viel tegen en duurde lang voor eten te krijgen , parking aan de overkant is betalen op zaterdag tot 20u en gratis op zondag

The location is excellent with the Middelburg railway station just across the bridge from the hotel. The library is on the opposite corner, together with a first-class typical Dutch fresh fish cart. The centre of the town and the old buildings are within walking distance from the hotel, as are the main shops and a lovely park with two windmills at either end. Very bicycle and walk friendly. The canal with walks either way to Veere or Vlissengen are easily reached and can be walked in a day. The hotel is a decent hotel, however be aware that the bar and lounge decor is 1970s kitsch. It is very clean. As advertised, the restaurant for lunch and dinner is next door (two Fletcher hotels adjoin each other and tend to operate as one). The breakfast food was good, however the service was lacking - see next comment. It is buffet style, self-service with a reasonable selection of fresh breads and pastries, fresh fruit, yoghurts, bacon, scrambled and boiled eggs, sausages. There are also some cereals with assorted toppings. The coffee machines provide decent hot beverages. The room was very clean with excellent daily housekeeping (thank you!) and the bathroom with separate toilet were kept very clean. They were a little on the small side, but adequate for my short stay. Plenty of good hot water with a decent shower. Toiletries were provided. There is also a little in-room coffee machine. My room opened onto a balcony overlooking the bridge and canal - very tranquil and typically continental ambience. Lovely. The staff were pleasant and luggage could be left at reception for early arrivals and late departures from Middleburg itself. The bar provides beverages and snacks. Plenty of e-bikes for hire. Very comfortable, large bed with spotlessly clean fresh bedding.
The breakfast service is very lacking and should be improved, especially on weekends when it was busier. People coming in at later times should have the same clean and neatly laid tables as those first-comers at the early times. Tables were dirty and not cleared from previous guests, there were no plates, cutlery or serviettes in the buffet area. Refill of food was very delayed. This was disappointing and on the weekend, certainly resulted in many grumpy guests. The staff were friendly and tried their best, however it seems there is a lack of adequate supervision and number of staff on duty for the number of guests. I did tell the reception staff about this on my departure.
Being able to hire non-ebikes would be good.
I could not find any room heating control-availability. It was becoming chilly.

Lift stuk, veel onduidelijkheid met het restaurant en het ontbijt.
Lag dicht bij het centrum
De lift was buiten werking , en ze hadden onze vrienden helemaal op de zolder gelegd . Dus de 4 de etage, aangezien ze moeite hebben met trappen lopen heb ik gevraagd voor een andere kamer liefst zo laag mogelijk. Hebben wij ook gekregen
De ligging en personeel bij ontbijtbuffet
Vergane glorie lift werkte niet hetgeen niet vermeld was. ( niet handig als je slecht ter been bent )Foto’s zijn veel mooier dan de kamers die wij kregen. Wel lekkere bedden maar veel te duur voor wat we kregen.
