Sumptuous experience in a remote place!
Pros:

Loved the hot tubs overlooking the lagoon, which on a clear night you likely could see the aurora from. Rooms were exceptional, in terms of the comfort of the beds. Supremely quiet. Location, location, location if you're doing anything in the national park. The staff were incredibly attentive and helpful. Dining room is beautiful.

Cons:

The lamb for dinner was overcooked and tough, and the dinner wasn't as good as other meals we ate in Iceland, which was disappointing, especially given the price. The cost of staying here is high, even for Iceland!

Pros:

If you want to spend time between Vik and Hofn, this location is spectacular. The cocktails at the bar are amazing. The best part was sitting in the warm hot tubs and jumping into the lagoon. We got a room with glacier view, but due to the fog, couldn't see that until morning.

Cons:

Be sure to make a reservation for the restaurant. Drinks and food is very pricey.

Tutto il personale dalla reception al bar super gentile e disponibile, stanza molto pulita e bella zona spa con vista sul ghiacciaio.

Pros:

Awesome location with fantastic views and short drive to glacier lagoon. Dinner and breakfast were excellent. The staff was friendly and helpful and the hotel is immaculate. Had a clear night with amazing views of the northern lights!
