Prometen tranquilidad, pero ellos mismos se encargan de arruinarla.

Una experiencia completamente decepcionante. El hotel se promociona como un lugar de tranquilidad, comodidad y descanso, pero la realidad es todo lo contrario.

Lo más absurdo es que el propio hotel organiza eventos con música y ruido excesivo durante toda la noche, sin consideración alguna por los huéspedes que pagamos precisamente para descansar.

Es una contradicción inaceptable: venden una experiencia de paz y tranquilidad, mientras ellos mismos generan las condiciones que hacen imposible dormir.

Uno no paga una habitación de hotel para pasar la noche en vela escuchando una fiesta que jamás solicitó.

La tranquilidad no debería ser solamente una estrategia publicitaria, sino un compromiso real con sus huéspedes.

Si su prioridad es organizar fiestas y eventos, deberían anunciarse como un centro de entretenimiento y no como un lugar de descanso.

No lo recomiendo para quienes buscan dormir tranquilamente. Una verdadera falta de respeto hacia el descanso de sus clientes.

The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable throughout our stay. The view from our room was beautiful, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The location was perfect for our itinerary.

Although the hotel doesn’t have a restaurant, they provide breakfast with healthy and delicious options, which we really enjoyed.

The hotel itself is beautiful, with a charming mix of the traditional *finca campesina* style typical of the area and stunning mountain views. It has a unique atmosphere that we didn’t see at many of the other hotels in the area. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it!

El sitio es un lugar precioso, se encuentra al lado de la carretera pero estás rodeado de naturaleza y tranquilidad. La habitación que nos asignaron fue una maravilla, muy bonita , la cama muy cómoda y todo muy limpio. El desayuno estaba muy rico. Sobre todo destacar el personal de este alojamiento, desde el primer momento nos hicieron sentir como en casa, siendo super amables con nosotros en todo momento. Muy contentos con todos los que trabajan allí, pero queremos destacar la atención de Jaime y Shirlie . Muchas gracias por hacer de nuestra estancia una maravilla. Esperamos volver y recomendamos este lugar también por su ubicación cercana a todos los puntos de interés de la zona

Asunto: RECLAMACIÓN URGENTE NO ATENDIDA - Instalaciones peligrosas, lesiones físicas y publicidad engañosa (Reserva: 6432283680)Estimado equipo de Booking:El pasado 16 de julio de 2026 abrí un reporte de emergencia respecto a mi estancia en el hotel "El Edén Country Hotel and Residential Club" (Habitación 17), el cual ha sido ignorado por su servicio de atención al cliente. Mi viaje ya concluyó y exijo que un supervisor humano revise este expediente de inmediato.El establecimiento puso en riesgo mi integridad física debido a un drenaje colapsado que inundó por completo el área de tránsito del baño. Debido a esta falta de mantenimiento y a la ausencia de alfombras antideslizantes, me resbalé al salir de la ducha y sufrí una dolorosa torcedura de pie. Además, el hotel incurre en publicidad engañosa al promocionar sus habitaciones con "Aire acondicionado" cuando no disponen del servicio, obligándome a mantener las ventanas cerradas en un ambiente sofocante o abrirlas y sufrir severas picaduras de mosquitos que derivaron en una gastroenteritis infecciosa.El propio hotel, a través de su chat oficial en su plataforma, admitió su responsabilidad pidiéndome disculpas y ofreciéndome compensaciones de cortesía que rechacé, pues me parece una falta de empatía , solo faltó que me quisieran ofrecer paseo a caballo totalmente gratis. Adjunto las fotografías irrefutables del piso inundado, la captura de la información falsa que distribuyen en la red y la receta médica emitida por mi seguro internacional de viaje.

Dirty and uncomfortable
Pros:

- Quiet location close to Filandia, Salento and Cocora Valley (20 mins, 30 mins and 45 mins by car respectively). Hotel is next to the freeway which is convenient.
- staff was friendly (although we saw only the receptionist and breakfast lady, no other staff seemed to be around.)
- property looks nice from the outside, built like a colorful wooden village.

Cons:

- the hotel needs a thorough clean up. Our room (Junior Suite) and the hallways were really dirty: dust and dead insects everywhere, dirty floors, blood on the walls from mosquitos, mould in the bathroom. Rooms are not cleaned unless you ask in the morning.
- the junior suite has two double beds but these are queen size at best, too narrow for 2 adults, or a parent and a teenage child. Mattresses very hard.
- restaurant was closed during our stay (summer). No lunch, no dinner, no snacks. The reception sold some cans and had a few mini bags of chips, but we needed to take the car if we wanted to eat anything. Breakfast was basic.
- Pool was not clean, lots of leaves, insects. Water was not heated. Even in summer the pool was too cold for a comfortable swim.
- no pool towels
- receptionist speaks only Spanish, not one word in another language
- restaurants she recommended were not good, like a pizza restaurant in Circasia. We had a few tours and the guide recommended wonderful restaurants, both basic and more extensive eateries with local food, within 20 mins from the hotel. A receptionist should know such things as well especially if the hotel restaurant appears to be closed.
To note: the rooms have no aircon. Our room seemed unused for a while and was very hot and musty. Definitely not aired for a while before we got the key.
You need a car when you stay here. There is nothing within walking distance.

Very beautiful location and views. Lovely old colonial style buildings. Breakfast was ok, not much selection.
Staff were very nice. (kitchen ladies were wonderful). Rooms are clean.

Cons:

Some parts are very tired.... but it is to be expected in a property this old.
Pool level was low and not very clean. Spa not very clean.
