Great stay in Svalbard
Pros:

Central location, nice accommodations, kind staff, and delicious breakfast. Overall a great value.

When I booked my room, the only ones available were the rooms with a shared bath. It was not an issue as there were enough bathrooms that were clean and within a few steps of the room.

Pros:

L'aspect cocooning, l'ambiance et la décoration ( sauf les ours empaillés coupés en 2). Le repas et le petit déjeuner.

Cons:

Le prix au regard de la surface de la chambre .
Le ménage n’à pas été fait durant notre séjour.

I am so glad I chose this place over a more conventional hotel, because of its relaxed and friendly hostel-like atmosphe
Pros:

I loved the quirky, historic and relaxed atmosphere.
Very friendly and helpful staff.
Close walk to town.
Very comfortable residents sittingroom, and well equipped kitchen for basic self-catering.
Excellent buffet breakfast, included in room rate.
Very good (though quite pricey) restaurant.

Cons:

Quite pricey for a small single room with shared bathroom, but I suppose everything in Svalbard is expensive, due to its isolated position, so it is not really a dislike, but a remark.

Good location and breakfast
Pros:

Good breakfast fro 7am with good choices of salmon, cold meat, cheese and cereals etc, 15min walk to town. I have single room with shared bath and was kept clean.

Cons:

Bed a bit soft. My room was next to shared bath, sometimes noisy when others use the bath

Lovely accomodations
Pros:

I loves the location and guest accomodations. Breakfast was lovely, the guest lounge area, guest kitchen, and guest game room
and bar were wonderful to have on site.

Vernant de Paris, entre dormir à Oslo ou arriver un jour plus tôt à Longyearbin, pas d'hésitation.
Pros:

Hotel nous metant tout de suite dans l'ambiance historique du Svalbard. Idéal après une journée d'avion.
Petit déjeuner extraordinaire, 2e aexeco dans ma très longue liste autour du monde après un lodge au Kenya et à égalité avec un ferry Islande - Feroées.

Cons:

Rien.

Beautiful quirky place to stay. Communal areas comfortable and well decorated. Lovely breakfast. The restaurant is good.

Cons:

Bedrooms were slightly cramped. Difficult to accommodate two people's suitcases.
