Fantastisch verblijf op een rustige idyllische plaats
Pros:

Zeer mooi charmant hotel met oud Britse stijl, uitgebreid en zeer lekker ontbijt, zeer goede locatie (dichtbij bushalte, shuttlebus naar het centrum en gratis parkeergelegenheid voor de auto), mooi zwembad en leuke (beperkte) gymruimte met ook jacuzzi en sauna. Er is een zeer beleefde doch aangename sfeer en je wordt in de watten gelegd (verse handdoeken aan het zwembad, onmiddellijk koffie en afruimen bij het ontbijt, blaadjes worden weggeblazen op de paden!). Aan de receptie is er de mogelijkheid om verschillende toers te boeken. Dit verblijf heeft alles om van Madeira een topbelevenis te maken!

NOT luxury hotel - especially Condé Nast not luxury level

service was not up to Condé Nast standards. I booked as I had stayed at a property in Cascais rated by Condé Nast and saw Quinta de Bella vista in that same book. But it was not at the luxury standard and service left a lot to be desired. we had to change rooms because the first night we could hear the next rooms bathroom noises! we were moved but there was plenty of vacancy and this should be avoided. No apologies. No welcome drink, not turndown service and some of food staff were actually poorly trained and rude. I was offered to be sent email for upper management when I complained and never got it

Relaxing break in Madeira
Pros:

Beautiful gardens with very tranquil surroundings and exceptional views. All staff were very helpful. Choice of dining venues within the grounds with a range of prices. Courtesy bus to/from town centre. Jacuzzi and sauna bookable for exclusive use at no extra charge.

Cons:

Everything was very good, only 2 very minor comments to make. Limited power outlets in the room for charging phones etc. No soap dispenser within reach of the bidet.

Pros:

la situation est idéale, à l'égard du centre, dans la verdure au calme. La piscine est très agréable, avec une jolie vue. Nous avons aussi beaucoup aimé le bar de la piscine qui est ouvert le soir et sert de délicieux cocktails, dans une ambiance très "british".
