Pros:

Lovely large lobby? Old school feel. Right on the bay with great views outbthe windows.
Really liked our stay at the hotel and the tour of the Beara Peninsula as well. Highly recommend!

Nice room with harbor view
Pros:

I've got better room that I expected - with big bed and harbor view, very close to lobby. Breakfast was rishi, night was silent, without sounds from other guests

Cons:

On reception I was asked to share my card number and date of expire after payment. No one ever asked me about that before. It was very unpleasant surprise, felt unsecure.
During the breakfast when I just went to have another cup of hot water all my jam and other unfinished stuff was taken away 🤣

Warm and comfortable
Pros:

I couldn't say enough good things about the staff, they were so warm and welcoming. The view from the spa was lovely. The room was so comfy, and had everything I needed. The toiletries are absolutely divine.

Cons:

The service in the restaurant was quite slow, and the jacuzzis were out of order.

Pros:

Liked the traditional feel and the outdoor hot tub was a lovely touch the food was also very good and room had wonderful view

Cons:

When checking in the lady couldn’t find our booking and was asking about a different name despite that being the actual name on the booking, it wasn’t a very welcoming experience or first impression when it was our first stay here

Old world charm and courtesy are still alive here
Pros:

This hotel has got it right. It’s a perfect balance of old and new world. There are no pretensions and the staff are very warm friendly and efficient. Shout out to Lucy in the restaurant especially. Despite being a large enough hotel it has a very homely atmosphere Food and service is excellent
