Every thing
There is nothing to say about this question
Great location . Clean and comfortable.
I didn’t like being seen in bed, by people in the car park when the front door is open .because of heat wave two fans would have been better.
Cleanliness and friendly staff
Nothing
We choose this destination as it was of short walking distance from a wedding we were attending later in the day. The staff were very friendly. We had a drink and a bite to eat at the Kings Arms after settling into our accommodation.
Considering our room was located on the premises of a busy Pub, the chalet style rooms are located in a quiet secure area overlooking a green. Outside each chalet is a small patio area with a table and chairs. Our room was very clean in new condition and of good quality. A generous size bathroom with a powerful shower over the bath.
Tea/coffee making facility, a small fridge containing complimentary bottled drinking water.
Breakfast is not included, they recommended a bistro a very short walk from our accommodation, which was excellent.
There was nothing to dislike. The only suggestion which we mentioned on vacating was about strong sunlight penetrating the obscure glass in the door panels from sunrise. There is a beautiful material blind covering the main window if required to block the Sun, but felt the window panels in the door require a blind, not for privacy but to block Sun if required.
Beautiful room spotless
Beautiful room in great location. I went to a wedding at The Priory so perfect for me. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable
I’d think about putting blind/curtain over the door. The last photo was the room at 5am. I appreciate not everyone is the same but I like a room as dark as possible.
Beautiful clean and newly refurbished rooms, very comfortable and well appointed
Unfortunately we had very noisy people next door that kept us awake from 11.30pm - 3am, the walls are either very thin or the people were very loud! Tried to call the number but as not a hotel no reception so couldn’t ask to be moved, really spoilt our experience. Also the front door needs a screen as the sun came through the window early hours … way too bright … especially after having about 3 hours sleep not what we needed
Everything was expected, staff where really good and welcoming.
Nothing
Very clean.felt like a local.very helpful staff.
Nothing.great stay.
Very comfortable, clean & warm
Nothing
Cleanliness and general comfort.
Shame Breakfast not provided in Pub. Local cafe closed on Sundays.
The room was clean, spacious and very well thought out. Lovely modern interior design. Comfortable bed and the staff were all very friendly. We were attending an event at the pub so the location was excellent. The food at the event was excellent and would definitely recommend eating in the pub The rooms were very secure and felt safe.
It's a shame there wasn't breakfast included onsite but we did got to Dukes as recommended which was nice but obviously an additional cost.
No breakfast available - but my room was beautiful
I would have liked to get breakfast!
Great location. Pretty village. Very friendly people
Only 1 bus every hour into Clacton on sea
Clean and spacious room, with a really comfortable bed.
No curtain at the door which let in a lot of light in the mornings.
Great location and a lovely large room, very clean and large comfortable bed.
Only 1 toilet roll and needed one a 6am. Could do with a shelf in the bathroom and a bin.
Beware of Staying in St Oysth as I tried for 2 hours to get a taxi to take me to a wedding reception nearby. Not the hotels fault. It's Uber who kept cancelling trips.
