Very good breakfast
Lunch
Evenings meal
Bar prices are very expensive for the products
Modern bright
Delicious breakfast
Nice room but no air conditioning
Nice bathroom
No air conditioning
Had to pay to use pool
Housekeeping don’t know bath mat from hand towel and left obviously dirty towel in room
Reception staff not knowledgeable about use of lakes fir swimming - unable to use lakes as told members only
The room was good. Only bone of contention was being offered an upgrade at a cost of an additional £28 per night to have a lake view. Unfortunately the lake turned out to be little more than a stagnant pond. At checkout I mentioned this and the receptionist said she would make a refund (yet to be received)
Bar prices are extortionate. A glass of wine and a pint of lager £21.00. The wine costing £14 per glass
Convenient location for our purpose
Dirty pants found in room upon check-in. Breakfast not included and very highly priced for the quality of the buffet. Staff didn’t offer anything other than a token apology for the fact that we found discarded dirty underwear in a supposedly clean room
The setting by the lake
There was an event on which was noisy for a while
Excellent surroundings in a luxury setting
A bit short of dining options
Schöne Zimmer, gutes Frühstück.
Klimaanlage fehlte und durch die großen Fenster wurde es sehr warm.
Personal wenig herzlich, aber professionell.
Beautiful views, great facilities. Huge bedrooms, nice restaurant and excellent breakfast.
Rooms were quite warm.
Don't like that you need to pay to use the pool. I've never seen this at any other hotel I've stayed at.
Room was spacious with a big window overlooking the lake and bed was really comfortable!
Really good variety of food for breakfast both savoury and sweet!
Gym was small but it has everything you need for a short break!
If you want to use the swimming pool you have to pay £10 for only an hour if not you can pay an expensive treatment and then you will have the swimming pool included (for only 2 hours)
Wonderful place this is the 3rd booking and it’s consistently excellent will be coming again — highly recommend
Nothing
La piscine
Le ménage laisse a désirer, peux mieux faire.
Location was good, accessible to local attractions, scenic and near lovely walking routes

Reasonable size room, good bed
Lack of air con.
2 main restaurants, brasserie closed all week
Boathouse open poor service. Average food
Hotel tried to promote up market image but did not hit the mark
Service charge on food bill - never in a million years - ruined the experience and the sooner they drop it the better. If i want to tip I will but to sneakily put on bill was out of order.
On arrival told we could book restaurant by ringing reception - After 20 minutes no one picked up. Went round to be told no reservations available. Went to another with a limited menu and lots of room, when we asked another guest they said the other restaurant we wanted was not busy.
Did not like the barn restaurant the food choice could be better for the money and a bit bigger menu would be good .
