It’s exactly as you would expect; a serene oasis with plenty of charm. The facilities, the staff, the view…. Definitely the best place to stay on the island. I would highly recommend Sensi to anyone visiting Sao Miguel.
It felt like a tranquil haven of relaxation and peace. You felt nature all around you. The vibe was luxurious yet relaxed. The best service from the staff in a friendly, professional way. We were grateful for their knowledge of the island. Definitely ask for tips at reception if you plan to explore the island. The food was exceptional.

Our stay at a Sensi Azores was simply magical. Everything was perfect, from the beautiful surroundings to the outstanding service. Dinner was phenomenal and the spa was incredibly relaxing after long day of exploring the island. This is truly one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. We would love to come back one day.

the breakfast was made to order, which we didn't like as other hotels have huge buffets with lots of more choice. for the price quality this was the most disappointing of the location

The room was huge and well appointed with a private terrace. The spa facilities are exceptional and we made good use of them as the weather was poor throughout our stay.
The food & drinks were good but at the higher price end. £200 for a dinner for two (2 x 2 courses, 1 dessert, 1 coffee and drinks). Breakfast is served to the table and is delicious. Fresh juice, fruit, ham & cheese, cake & breads. Additionally, you can order eggs. There are other items at an extra charge.
All of the staff were friendly and helpful.
The hotel styling is stunning and the bar area spacious and comfortable.

We were overcharged by £240 on our bill at checkout. It took a lot of sorting out as the lady on reception wax adamant that the hotel was correct. After asking to see the signed receipts, she eventually accepted that we had been over charged but she wasn’t at all apologetic.

Wir hätten das Bar - Angebot gerne mehr genutzt, aber;
- Getränke überteuert (auch bei gutem Service sind die Preise einfach übertrieben hoch)
- Rauchen im Freien der Bar nicht erlaubt (man könnte einfach in Bereiche einteilen)
