Best views in Viana do Castelo
Pros:

Beautiful old world charm, offering the best views over Viana do Castelo. It is our second stay at the Pousada since we really loved staying here the first time. Great swimming pool and we had perfect weather to enjoy it. The staff were very professional and responsive to any request, a special mention to Mr. Sérgio Monteiro who was very kind, helpful and courteous. The breakfast was fantastic with many options on offer including some regional items. Rooms were comfortable and bathrooms spacious. Plenty of parking available at the property free of charge.

Cons:

The water pressure in the bathrooms was quite low, likely due to the age of the plumbing.

Wunderbar thront das Haus am Monte de Santa Luzia. Wir bekamen ein Upgrade mit Balkon zur Stadt. Ein ehrwürdiges Haus.

The highlight of our Portugal trip.

We stayed at this wonderful hotel while celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary, and it exceeded every expectation.

Before our arrival we mentioned our anniversary, and from the very first moment the team made us feel truly welcome. We were greeted with genuine warmth, offered sparkling wine, and every member of the staff seemed determined to make our stay unforgettable.

The hotel surprised us with thoughtful anniversary treats in our room: sparkling wine, fresh fruit and delicious sweets. These small touches made us feel genuinely cared for rather than simply accommodated.

The biggest surprise was our room. We were given an incredible room with breathtaking panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean, the Lima River, the city and the magnificent Basilica of Santa Luzia. Even from the bathroom you could enjoy the ocean view! Waking up to that scenery was simply unforgettable.

The service was exceptional everywhere. The reception staff were kind, professional and attentive, and the restaurant team was equally wonderful. Everyone greeted us with a smile and made us feel like valued guests throughout our stay.

This hotel was much more than a beautiful place to sleep. It became one of the highlights of our anniversary trip through Portugal.

A heartfelt thank you to the entire team for your outstanding hospitality. We hope to return one day and will recommend this hotel without hesitation to anyone looking for a truly memorable stay in northern Portugal.

This is a gorgeous and fancy but affordable place to enjoy, relax and feel at home too!
Pros:

We had a view of the church and the entire town. We were so grateful to have a room on that side. The pool is gorgeous, the restaurant and staff were exceptional, the sitting area inside by the bar was fun to be in. Breakfast in the morning was fabulous and sitting outside was wonderful.

Gran estancia en Hotel histótico.
Pros:

Nuestra habitación tenía un balcón en la propia habitación y otro en el baño. Vistas espectaculares sobre el Santuario del Sagrado Corazón de Jesús / Monte de Santa Lucía, todo el rio Limia con Viana do Castelo y la inmensa playa de Cabedelo.
Desayuno abundante y variado. Restaurante con menú bien surtido de platos tradicionales. Por último, como no, todo el personal muy atento y profesional.
PD. La piscina estupenda. Cargadores para VE funcionantes.

Pros:

La vue sur viana de castelo et la bâtisse de l'hôtel le rez-de-chaussée de chaussée était très beau

Cons:

Les chambres ne sont pas très grandes ainsi que la salle de bain tâches plein la moquette piscine pas très propre je trouve que le tarif était trop élevé part rapport aux prestations proposées

Lage ist toll.

Cons:

Die Zimmer sind eher klein oder unvorteilhaft geschnitten. Die Fenster lassen sich teilweise nicht öffnen und haben keine Verschattung. Das Bad ist ein Witz. Klein, kein Wasserdruck und eine Toilette höchstens für Kinder.
