lean, quiet, barebones stay. For tech-savvy, independent travelers.
Pros:

Very clean (albeit spartan) room and bathroom. Quiet. Comfortable bed. In the morning, I was able to speak with helpful/welcoming staff. I would have stayed longer, but my room was booked the following nights.

Cons:

Contactless check-in was a bit weird; wasn't expecting that, though perhaps I hadn't read the fine print. I booked/arrived last-minute, around 7pm, and there was no one at reception. I had to call an answering service via an interphone to await receiving a call back/email to inform me of my room number and passcode (no key). I didn't wait very long, in the end; maybe 10 mins, but it was still a bit frustrating. The next day, I noticed new, older guests arriving/equally perplexed by the check-in system, and my friend had to help them navigate accessing their room. Inside the room, by the door, is an electronic touchpad controlling both the bathroom and room lights (you can't switch on the light from inside the bathroom). I was searching for a light switch in the bathroom for ages before figuring it out. This hotel option seems best-suited for very independent travellers who prefer minimal contact, and who are comfortable with passcode keys and electronic keypad light controls.

Schön renoviertes Zimmer mit moderner Dusche, viel Fenster und bequemes Bett, 5 Minuten vom Bahnhof
Pros:

Das Badezimmer war sehr schön renoviert, etwas klein aber ok. Unser Zimmer hatte viel Fenster (gegen nord-westen), was bei diesem heissen Sommer sehr zu begrüssen war!
Der Frühstück-Speisesaal sehr angenehm und das Buffet reichhaltig.

Cons:

Die Logistik war etwas mühsam: Morgenessen sollte in der Unterkunft bar bezahlt werden, aber Reourgeld hatte das Personal nicht.
