Fijne accommodatie gelegen in een mooie tuin
Pros:

De huisjes liggen verspreid in een mooie tuin vol bomen en planten die diverse dieren aantrekken. Het zwembad is fijn en de verwarmde jacuzzi in de middag was een pluspunt.
De kamers zijn simpel, maar netjes en schoon. Bij de receptie ligt een ruimte waar je koffie en thee kunt zetten en waar je servies en bestek kunt gebruiken.

Cons:

Het park kan hier en daar een opknapbeurt gebruiken (de koffie- en theeruimte is onlangs wel vernieuwd).
Het ontbijt vonden we tegenvallen. We reserveerden dit de eerste ochtend en wij vonden het de 8 dollar niet waard. Ook hebben we ruim een half uur moeten wachten, waardoor we bijna onze tour misten.

De houding van de eigenaar is wat eigenaardig. Specifiek voorbeeld; Vragend naar de functie van de whirlpool, doet ze alsof ze haar hoofd stoot om aan te geven dat het een domme vraag is..

Pros:

Elke kamer heeft een terras met zicht op de mooie tuin en op de vulkaan bij mooi helder weer. Hotel ligt dicht bij restaurants , winkels en activiteiten. Lekker ontbijt.

Je kan alleen cash betalen. Je moet het ontbijt elke dag cash betalen.

El hotel tiene excelente ubicación.

Cons:

Falta de comunicación en lo que me indicaba booking y lo que me indicaron en el hotel. Seguí las instrucciones de booking y el personal me indicó que lo enviado por booking no era correcto. Personal no cumplió las expectativas de atención esperado. Un cuarto se mojaba se le indicó y no hicieron nada al respecto.

Si mai torno a Costa Rica passaré uns dies al Roca Negra!
Pros:

Elisabeth és una gran professional, ens ha atès molt bé i amb molta atenció a tot el que hem necessitat. L'hotel ajardinat està molt ben cuidat, la piscina amb jacuzzi calentet s'agraeix moltíssim i ens ha anat molt bé que hi ha una zona de cafetería on pots fer-te cafè, infusions, sucs... també hi ha jocs de taula... molt agradable tot! I tenen alguns animals fins i tot!

Cons:

L'esmorzar que s'ofereix amb cost adicional no ens va semblar massa bé. Vam preferir esmorzar a la zona cafeteria self service del mateix hotel.
L'aigua de la dutxa no té molta presió.

Pros:

This is a great spot just outside the main strip in La Fortuna. We loved the lush gardens and the walking paths on the hotel grounds. You can tell a lot of thought went into designing this place. The staff was exceptionally helpful. We also loved the various animals that live on the property. The pool was great for an afternoon swim. You can book excursions through the front desk. Great view of the volcano on a clear day. The property is very secure. We loved sitting on the porch of our cabana and watching the afternoon rain. Easy walk to everything in La Fortuna. The breakfast severed at the hotel is great and Red Frog Coffee just down the street is another great breakfast option.

A wonderfully relaxing stay that everyone in our family thoroughly enjoyed.
Pros:

The view of Arenal Volcano from our room was amazing. We loved watching the hummingbirds in the garden, and the entire property was beautifully maintained and thoughtfully organized to make our stay comfortable. We enjoyed the ping-pong table, pool table, and the complimentary coffee and tea in the common area. The staff were exceptionally friendly, and our daughter especially loved visiting the mini farm on the hotel grounds. The hotel is also conveniently located near many attractions, restaurants, and tour departure points.

Cons:

The jacuzzi wasn't quite warm enough for my taste, although my 9-year-old daughter actually preferred the temperature. The resident peacocks could be a bit noisy from time to time.
