Heel mooi oud gebouw met historie. Kamer ook ruim met aparte toilet en badkamer. Goede bedden en kussens. Kleurstelling iets minder maar dat is natuurlijk persoonlijk. Ontbijt is geweldig, echt alles is aanwezig.

Aangenaam ontspannen verblijf - even weg - dichtbij
Pros:

Het uitgebreide ontbijt met een zeer ruim aanbod en de vlotte service van het personeel waren toppers. Ook de saunamogelijkheden,het zwembad en een eigen jacuzzi op de kamer zijn een meerwaarde.
Een propere ruime kamer met airco en de slaapkamer op het verdieping…

Cons:

De steile trap naar de slaapkamer en de wc beneden zorgde ‘s nachts voor een extra obstakel - de nodige mobiliteit is vereist - best vermelden bij de boeking

Wij komen hier zeker nog terug
Pros:

Met het vernieuwde wellnes complex is het aangenaam verblijven in het hotel.
Goede service en goede prijs kwaliteit.
Prima ligging voor ons - heel rustig

Cons:

We zijn een breder bed gewoon :-)
Mini bar was ook niet echt koud.

Goed verblijf in Verviers, 
Pros:

Verzorgd, netjes, royaal parkeren, uitstekend ontbijt. Fijne bedden. Gemakkelijk te vinden.

Cons:

Beetje verouderd op sommige punten, duplex kamers zijn niet geschikt voor minder mobiele gasten, verkoopautomaat die uitsluitend met munten werkt is echt niet meer van deze tijd.

Van der Valk 2.0... Voor ons weer een absolute GO!
Pros:

Uitstekend hotel. Door pech met de auto, op doorreis naar zuid-Frankrijk, hier noodgedwongen uiteindelijk voor 2 nachten, ingechecked zonder verwachtingen én met een niet al te best humeur. Het van der Valk hotel Verviers overtrof onze verwachtingen. Van ontbijt, kamers, personeel, hygiene alles tip top in orde, vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ondanks het 'hangen' en wachten op een bericht van de garage dat we verder konden, hebben we ons in en rondom het gemoderniseerde hotel toch uitstekend vermaakt en een zeer aangenaam verblijf gehad.
