One downside was the noise. My window faced the street, and there was quite a lot of traffic noise, along with loud music at times. Also, I had put out the 'do not disturb' sign out on a few different occasions but it flew of the door so I ended up been disturbed, once I was woken up 😭

Unfortunately, what really impacted my experience was an uncomfortable interaction during check-in. After a smooth and efficient check-in process with the receptionist, another staff member named Manuel escorted me to my room and showed me the hotel facilities along the way, which I appreciated. However, once we arrived at the room and the door shut behind us, I immediately felt uncomfortable being alone with him in the space.

What also made the interaction feel unnecessary was that I had carried my own bags to the room, so there was no real reason for him to remain inside after showing me where everything was. After pointing out the minibar and room features, he asked if I had a long flight and then reached out to massage my shoulders. I awkwardly shifted away, but the interaction continued with small talk, followed by a high five and then an awkward attempt to hug me. At that point, I just wanted the interaction to end, and thankfully he left shortly after.

I have travelled extensively around the world and within Mexico and have never experienced anything like this from hotel staff. It felt unprofessional and inappropriate, and it unfortunately overshadowed what otherwise could have been a positive stay. I avoided contact with him for the remainder of my trip.

While the hotel itself has many positives, this experience left me uneasy and makes it difficult for me to fully recommend the property.

Our stay at Magic Blue Spa Boutique Hotel ended with a very unpleasant and humiliating experience. At check-out, the staff accused us of stealing a towel that we did not take. We explained multiple times that one towel was hanging after use and the second remained folded on the shelf, but nobody was willing to listen.

For nearly an hour, the staff treated us in a rude, aggressive, and disrespectful way. They threatened to call the police, refused to let us speak with the manager or cleaning staff, raised their voices at us, and made us feel extremely uncomfortable and humiliated. We even offered to open our suitcases to prove we had taken nothing. The attitude we received felt hostile and discriminatory.

Unfortunately, this was not the only issue during our stay. The shower had very weak water pressure, there were ants and many mosquitoes in the room, and the breakfast was disappointing with very limited fruits and vegetables. In addition, the night security guard behaved in an inappropriate and unprofessional way toward female guests, trying to hug girls and insisting on accompanying them to their rooms. Very disappointing experience — we would not recommend this hotel.

Le lit était bon mais trop bizarre il était très très très haut ! Après ça n’empêche en rien d’apprécier une bonne nuit de sommeil !

Être limité à un café pour le petit déjeuner.
La fond musical au réveil trop élevé.
Tasse et assiette débarrassés dés la dernière bouchée avalée donne l impression qu il faut partir vite même s il n y a personne qui attend.

Rien, tout était parfait.

Petit déjeuner buffet ça c’est super, mais trop de procédures, et personnel du restaurant pas très aimable
