Secret House Boutique Hoi An

Really nice place to stay in Hoi An. Right next to rice fields, beautiful view. Room was big, very clean and bathroom very nice, good size shower. Bed and pillows very comfortable. Breakfast was great and fresh. Pool was enjoyable too. The art gallery is an added bonus, and everyone was so kind and helpful. Not far by car to Hoi An old town, we walked it one day and took about 40 minutes, but they will let you use a bicycle which is much faster. So nice to walk/bike through the rice fields. Highly recommended.

This was our home away from home! The location looking over the rice fields was perfect and peaceful. We loved the king room with the balcony view. Thuy was such a warm and personable host making sure everything was ok for us every day. We loved Salt making our amazing coffee! I think the best in Vietnam! The breakfasts are just lovely especially the granola bowl and smoothie! We used the beautiful pool daily and loved purchasing our lovely artworks from the gallery. We will now only ever stay here when we return to Hoi An! Also walking distance from Om Day yoga which we loved. Such a small intimate boutique stay and felt like we are welcomed in the lovely owners home..

Beautiful property overlooking the rice fields! The room was spacious and modern. The hotel itself feels like a work of art and guests can also visit the gallery next door, owned by the same family, which adds to the unique and tranquil experience.

A special thank you to Thuy, the manager, who was incredibly kind and caring throughout my stay. When I wasn't feeling well, she regularly checked on me and even brought me ginger tea, which I truly appreciated.

The location is perfect for anyone looking to enjoy the best of Hoi An — surrounded by nature, yet still close to both the beach and the Old Town.

I actually stayed here twice during my trip because I enjoyed it so much! I highly recommend this property and would gladly return again.

Beautiful property and helpful staff like Thuy

I rarely leave bad reviews, but people need to know what to expect. The reality is totally different from the pictures, and the property lacks basic upkeep. The pool area is ruined by the heavy construction happening right next to it. The absolute dealbreaker, though, was the bed. It was basically an antique spring mattress with lumps all over it. Additionally, the bicycles they provided were ancient and completely unrideable.

Great place to stay and experience the rice paddy area of Hoi An. If this is your first visit to Hoi An and you desire more tourist attractions you may want to stay in town. However this is a great out of the place to chill and relax if you are already familiar with the area. The staff were super attentive and went out of their way to address our concerns. Great value and we would will stay there again.

I stayed here for 2 months and it was largely a very comfortable stay and I’m really going to miss this place! The owners are super lovely and talented, the staff here go out of their way to greet you every morning and try make sure you are satisfied. Thuý was a gem! The location was everything I was after. Quiet location on the rice fields between the beach and old town. Because I had my own motorcycle everything and everywhere was accessible to me and I enjoy the rides. There is also a spectacular art gallery attached and you’ll love wondering through it and admiring the art!

Secret house is a true hidden gem. Firstly its location is in a beautiful area of the rice fields. We used the hotels free bicycles to get into old town which takes around 10 mins and also to the beach 15mins.
Secondly the property itself is stunning. An oasis of calm and decorated beautifully with artwork and luxury finishes. We had a king room with balcony and it was incredibly comfortable. The best mattress and bed linens of our trip so far! Spotless and tastefully decorated.
And thirdly, Secret house has the best customer service I’ve ever encountered. This is all down to Thuy. She is the kindest and most helpful lady. She ensures you have everything you need, goes out of her way to assist (she came to work early to bring us a breakfast to take to the airport!) and greets you with the biggest smile every day. Honestly, Thuy is a credit to the hotel. She made our stay perfect in every way.
Book!!!! You won’t be disappointed at all. It’s beautiful.

Diese Unterkunft war die schönste auf meiner gesamten Reise durch Vietnam! Die Zimmer und die gesamte Anlage sind super schön! Die Betten sind bequem und die Bettwäsche roch soo angenehm frisch.
Das gesamte Personal und die Besitzer sind so lieb und freundlich. Besonders Thuy war jederzeit erreichbar und super hilfsbereit und hat mich bei all meinen Anliegen unterstützt. Danke nochmal!
