Pros:

Very good location. It takes around 40–50 minutes to get to Manhattan. The J train is about a 3-minute walk away.

There are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. I even found a Polish shop just a 5-minute walk from the house.

Cynthia, the owner, is a very lovely and friendly lady. The hosts really take good care of you, and there are plenty of snacks available.

Overall, I had a very good experience and would definitely recommend this place.

Cons:

It’s definitely not a super-modern house, But considering the cleanliness and the conditions offered, the price is fair and reflects the quality. It’s ideal for someone travelling alone.

I'll come back!
Pros:

The host was very nice, helpul, and considerate. The place was close to Jamaica Avenue, making it easier to find places to eat and buy. Also, the train was very close, so that moving around was easy.

Bed bugs, extremely disappointing experience

Cons:

I found bed bugs in the room and suffered multiple bites, which took around 15 days to treat and recover from.
I have been traveling for years and have never experienced anything like this before. Sadly, this made my first visit to New York very unpleasant and disappointing.
The host initially apologized and said she would replace the mattress immediately, but when I asked for a refund, her attitude completely changed. I have photos and videos as evidence.
Very bad experience. Avoid this place at all costs

כלום הכול היה גרוע לפי דעתי אל תמליצו לאף אחד ללכת לשם בית ישן שבור קיבלתי שם פריחה ברגליים לא שותו את הריצפה רק שואב אבק הרגליים שלי נהיו שחורות נאלצתי להביא דברים לנקות את הריצפה

היה שם צוקים במטבח עכברים שהחתול הביא ושערות של החתול בכול הבית לא היו מזגנים הזעתי את חיי שם היתי צריכה כול היום להיות בחוץ כדי ליסבול את החום גם הוינטילטור לא עזר

Pros:

Well located close to subway, spacious, clean, comfy bed, full of amenities and treats, and Cynthia was very attentive and professional.

Clean, nice room, lots of snacks and most importantly lovely host ❤️

Cons:

At first the fridge in my room bothered me- it was making noise like fridges do. But earplugs helped :)
