Pros:

The property itself is beautiful. The location is absolutely stunning, the pool area is breathtaking, our suite was spacious and very comfortable, and the food was very good.

Cons:

However, a large electricity cable running prominently across the outlook significantly detracts from what would otherwise be an exceptional view. Unfortunately, the service also seriously let the hotel down.

During the day, service around the bar and pool area was extremely poor.

More concerning was what happened with a pair of sunglasses we accidentally left on our table at dinner. We realised the following morning and immediately informed reception. Given how isolated the hotel is, and that the sunglasses were left on a restaurant table within the property, their disappearance was particularly troubling.

To be fair, members of the kitchen team tried to help us look for them the following day. However, the wider response was extremely disappointing. We left our telephone number but received no call or proactive update. Instead, we had to approach reception ourselves on three separate occasions, only to receive a brief response that the sunglasses had not been found. Nobody appeared to take ownership of the matter or make any meaningful effort to establish what had happened.

We obviously cannot know who took the sunglasses. Nevertheless, having an item disappear from a dinner table inside the hotel—and then encountering such limited concern, communication and accountability—left us feeling extremely uncomfortable.

It is a real shame because the property has so much going for it. With substantially better service, professionalism and follow-through, it could be an exceptional hotel. Our experience, however, fell well below what we would expect at this level.

Heerlijk charme hotel
Pros:

Mooi kleinschalig hotel met fraai uitzicht over zee en heerlijk infinity zwembad. We zaten 3 dagen half pension en dat was heerlijk mede omdat het hotel wat afgelegen ligt en de keuken prima was.

Estadia de paz e beleza estonteante

Gostamos muito do pequeno almoço e adoramos o jantar, o chef é EXCELENTE. Adoramos o conceito do hotel, a decoração, o facto de estar numa área de reserva natural, com vistas de cortar a respiração, a piscina infinita, tudo. Tivemos o privilégio de ver animais selvagens a passear pelo hotel, a Chanel (uma pequena raposa muito amigável, que se alimentava da nossa mão) e uma família de javalis. O staff foi extraordinário.

Cons:

Infelizmente, ficamos no quarto 112, em que a cozinha era literalmente dentro do quarto, ou seja, o quarto não era totalmente amplo, porque tinha um "bloco" dentro dele, em que do outro lado das paredes era a cozinha. Isto fez com que acordássemos todos os dias, quando o staff começava a preparar o pequeno almoço e só pudéssemos adormecer depois de terminarem o turno de trabalho, já depois das 23h30m. Também reparamos que nem todos os elementos do staff tinham o mesmo brio na limpeza do quarto/casa de banho. A temperatura da água do chuveiro não era constante, sendo na maioria das vezes fria, o que, apesar do calor que se fazia sentir, se tornava desconfortável. Nos dois últimos dias a agua da piscina estava turva.

PERFECT MINI MOON STAY
Pros:

This hotel was perfect for our mini moon - total relax, away from chaos, in the middle of nature, super peaceful and just so beautiful. It was truly a relaxing and romatinc stay perfect to detox after all the wedding planning.

As much as it was a bit far from the main town (San Vito Lo Capo) , it was also so closed to Zingaro Naural Reserve and it worked out just great for our little Sicilian road trip around the area.

A peaceful and secluded oasis a short drive to paradise
Pros:

The cabins were gorgeous including the peaceful terrace outside the cabin. There was an amazing pool with a spectacular view of the sea at the horizon. The food was excellent, and we were so pleasantly surprised with the friendliness of all the staff. I would definitely recommend going!

Cons:

It’s impossible to dislike anything, but if you really insist, I still can’t think of anything :)

Overall: geweldige vakantie gehad

Cons:

Wij verbleven voor 9 dagen en dat is voor deze locatie ongebruikelijk lang. De meeste gasten zijn op tour door Sicilie en blijven 2-3 dagen. Alles is daarop afgestemd, de menu kaart maar ook bedienend personeel wat juist daardoor niet investeert in gast-relatie. Wij vonden de staf in de eerste 3-5 dagen erg afstandelijk en bepaald niet warm. Na dien leerden we elkaar beter kennen en werd het beter. Het gold ook niet. Oor iedereen. De maitre en bijvoorbeeld Davide waren voortreffelijk, Elena deed wat ze moet door prima maar bleef naar mijn smaak veel te afstandelijk.
