I had an amazing time at Jonny’s place Jonny and his family are so welcoming and couldn’t do enough.

An unforgettable experience full of joy and humility
Pros:

Jonny, Eddie and his whole family, including the loveable and adorable Peggie pet dog, who we fell in love with! Jungle room was rural, teeming with life in the jungle atmosphere and woken to delish pancakes and fruit. I consider them humble, respectful, and the most hospitable Muslims I’ve ever met. You do the religion proud!! As a revert to Islam, I’m so honoured to spend time with you as a humble family. You are my friends now!

Cons:

Nothing at all! They could not have worked harder to make us happy and amazing sunsets and beauty. What is NOT to love!

A great Tetebatu experience
Pros:

Everything was very nice, the room was clean and bed very comfortable. You can see the sunrise across the rice fields right from your bed and you have your own balcony to enjoy your breakfast or to chill during the day with a view. The owner Jonny and his family made me feel very welcome, they were very kind and I really enjoyed my stay there. They also offer guided tours, which is a great option if you want to explore the area with a local guide.

Cons:

The bathroom is a traditional one, nothing wrong with it actually, just so you expect it before coming :)

Jonny's places is fantastisch!
Pros:

Aanrader! Jonny's places is fantastisch! Je bent hier echt onderdeel van zijn heel erg lieve familie (en hond Peggy) en krijgt een inkijk in de Sasak cultuur. De zelfgebrande koffie staat altijd klaar. De tours die Jonny organiseerd zijn authentiek en kunnen worden aangepast naar wens. De drivers nemen je mee naar de mooiste plekken van Tetebatu.
Wij verbleven in een origineel huis van bamboe met prachtig uitzicht op de rijstvelden en de zon opkomst. Werkelijk prachtig!
Wij deden de kookworkshop op open vuur. Een hele gave ervaring en veel geleerd.
Ga hier naartoe en je hebt er een fantastische 2e familie bij.

Cons:

Niets.
Het is even onthaasten en mee gaan in het ritme van Tetebatu. Douchen op de Sasak manier. (Er is ook een gewone douche). Het water is trouwens erg schoon, uit een bron.

Dschungelnächte zwischen Reisfeldern und Kokospalmen
Pros:

Wer tolle authentische Tage im Dschungel mit Einheimischen verbringen will ist hier genau richtig.
Die gesamte Familie ist besonders nett und hilfsbereit.
Mr John organisiert ebenso Touren in Tetebatu welche super authentisch und interessant sind.
Ich hatte 3 super spannende und lustige Tage in Tetebatu und würde es immer weiter empfehlen.

Amazing days!!
Pros:

We absolutely loved staying with Jonny and his family! Our cabin was clean and cozy, perfect for two people. The food was always absolutely delicious, traditional and freshly made.

We all enjoyed to talk with each other! We learned so much about their culture and their daily life in tetebatu.The tours were also very interesting, they have so much knowledge and were very motivated to show us everything. We loved that you can truly tell they put their heart and soul into everything they do.

We‘re gonna remember the most how much we’ve laughed together! We were sad to leave.. because we felt like a part of the family.

It truly feels like a second home. The whole family is really friendly and helpful. The tours offered are also a great way to see the town, experience all the natural beauty and learn about the local culture. And I would recommend the chicken and vegetable curry, very delicious! :)
