This is a fantastic place to stay for the history and is in close proximity to Hobart and surrounding places to visit and awesome place to stay and relax or use as a base to explore.. HIGH RECOMMENDED

The food and service were excellent - a really classy experience. More than just accommodation - exploring the gardens and their food was a treat.
Fabulous secluded and full of surprises
the restaurant was absolutely wonderful. The chef is informed and passionate and very accomodating to indiviual dietary needs.
Cups and spoons in room coffee facilities were a bit dirty
Excellent accommodation and superb customer service in all aspects from arrival, at dinner and at breakfast. Highly recommended

The dinner was very good and the staff friendly and attentive. The glass of bubbly on arrival was most welcome.
The breakfast was ordinary and not up to expectations.
Enjoyed the tour pf the house giving an understanding of the early ingluence on Richmonds architecture.
Open bathroom and low roof
We loved absolutely EVERYTHING. The building was gorgeous, the bedrooms were absolutely beautifully appointed and the service was second to none. It felt very much like a family’s passion project and every detail was considered and deliberate to ensure a luxurious stay.

Lovely comfortable room and nice garden
It would have been nice if fire was lit in lounge room for guests to enjoy this room before and after dinner.
This renovated accommodation provides old world charm. Large light & quiet room on the first floor with modern facilities. Afternoon tea & wine tasting at Pooley’s Winery included along with excellent breakfast. We had a problem with the safe. Lisa & Imogen in particular went above & beyond to get it opened. All staff excellent. The restaurant is also top notch. Property needs charging facilities for EVs. Highly recommended.
