Pleasant stay whilst I was working down south. Very friendly staff Afaq was really helpful when checking me in

Comfortable
Pros:

Clean , helpful staff , free parking ( staff did it apparently) , good water pressure on shower

Cons:

Broken furniture, aged decoration , no wall lights above bed ( taken away and capped) only main light to room , too bright in evening
Broken shower rail holder for head , hard to wash holding wand , lack of maintenance

Warm welcome but needs a clean up.
Pros:

Lovely warm welcome from all staff. The price was good for a last minute work stay. The bedding and towels were clean.

Cons:

The door knob needed to be screwed back on. The shower needed a deep clean. The cupboards were dirty and damaged. Needed a very big refurbishment.

Pros:

I was just staying for the night to break up a long journey. It did the job. As I was only there for a night, I didn't raise any of the issues I'm about to mention so perhaps they could have been sorted. Staff seemed fine. Parking was paid for but there's plenty of on street free parking on the industrial estate.

Cons:

Half of the double bed was broken. If you rolled over you'd drop half way to the ground. The fan was broken so I had to disassemble it and put it back together properly. There was an old chip to the side of the desk / dresser so cleaning isn't the most thorough.

Ok but lower your expectations
Pros:

Location. Good for takeaways

Cons:

The door lock you had to turn at least 15 times for it to lock. Bathroom, paint coming off the walls all round the skirting boards and a lot of dust on the skirting boards. No chair or hairdryer in the room.

Good value for money hotel
Pros:

Good price and location and friendly staff , no nonsense parking, it’s no 5 star hotel but for the price I would fully recommend it.
