Pros:

Lovely large room with a comfy bed. Rain shower was great. Good selection of tea,coffee etc.
The cake left in the room each was nice touch and also a sample of their homemade sloe gin which was delicious .
The staff were very friendly and very helpful.
I only had breakfast but, I have to say it was really delicious with generous portions.
The White Swan was set back off the main road so was lovely and quiet.
Another bonus for me was that it was dog friendly.
I would certainly go back and have already recommended The White Swan to my friends.
Thank you for a pleasant stay.

Lovely place.
Pros:

Lovely location for us to explore the area. We were made to feel welcome by our hosts. Comfy rooms. Lovely extra touches with sloe gin and cake (yum yum). The breakfast and food was fantastic. We would highly recommend and hope to return in the future. Thank you.

Second time here, just as good as the first
Pros:

Excellent breakfast. Ate a main meal once in the evening, and that was excellent too. Staff were friendly and helpful. Loved the little touches of cake each day and the sloe gin was nice too. Excellent room , comfortable bed great shower, facilities for the dog as well

Third visit and would not seek to change if visiting the area in the future.
Pros:

Comfortable clean room. Excellent menu and quality restaurant. Ideally situated for Bamburgh and all usual tourist favorites but a sanctuary at the end of the day.

Fabulous stay at a lovely inn.
Pros:

Breakfast choices are very good with fresh fruit platter (all the fruit was fresh and beautifully presented) and local kippers amongst the offerings. All the food is cooked fresh and the evening menu includes popular pub grub as well as more unusual choices. Food is excellent. Lovely touch with fresh cake and slo gin in the rooms. Fresh milk and cold water available from a fridge downstairs.

Cons:

Cannot think of anything. I had thought the socket was too far from the mirror for hair drying but they had provided an extra mirror specifically to cope with this.

Nice place to stay close to Bamburgh & Alnwick
Pros:

We stayed here for a wedding near by. The room was large and spacious. Complementary cake and sole gin each day was appreciated. The shower was excellent and the food in the pub (breakfast and dinner) was very good.

Cons:

The beds were incredibly uncomfortable. The pillows were literally falling a part with bits coming off in the bed.

Super Frühstück und leckeres Abendbrot.
Es gab jeden Tag ein anderes Stück Kuchen .
Kaffee und Tee wurde jeden Tag auf gefüllt.

Superb accommodation, highly recommended
Pros:

The room was very spacious. It was a lovely touch to welcome us 2 big slices of cake and some sloe gin. Then to replace it the next day.
The food in the restaurant was first class. All the staff were very helpful and charming.
