Beatiful experience
Pros:

Great location near the river and forest, the room view was on the water side, large room and clean, on-site free parking, pool for kids, the food was tasty overall. Lovely location if you want to explore the country side in Scotland, 1h away to Edinburgh by car.

Cons:

Breakfast lacks variety, fixed menu to chose from and not many options with vegetables or cold cuts. The room windows did not close properly, for us it was not an issue since it was summer and hot, but I imagine in the colder seasons it may be uncomfortable. No phone signal because hotel is in a valley and you must use wifi whenever possible. Wifi was decent though.

Beautiful area well worth a visit
Pros:

Beautiful location with a fabulous view from our window. Good choice at breakfast.
Enjoyed using the pool and sauna!

Would highly recommend this hotel. Would love to go back.
Pros:

An amazing building in a wonderful location. The staff were lovely, the food in the restaurant was high quality and the pool was an added bonus. A really good stay.

Pros:

Location was great! Hotel was lovely! Very comfy & spacious! Allowed 3 kids with 1 sharing the bed which was ideal!

Cons:

Some of the receptionist staff where quire grumpy.
You dont get conditioner in the rooms & when I asked was told no! After paying £180 a night.

Good for a family but lacking in atmosphere. Pool nice. Lunch in bar was good but dinner not goid.
