Friendly & helpful staff
Booked just an hour before my 3-hour flight, and everything was handled smoothly. The response was quick, and the airport pickup I requested was waiting on arrival. The location in Kiulap was excellent. As a solo female traveller, I felt safe walking around at night, and there were plenty of shops, a supermarket, ATMs and places to buy a SIM card nearby. I also walked back from Gadong Night Market around 8 p.m. and felt perfectly safe. It was easy to get around using the Dart taxi app (cash only), with most rides costing BND 5.50 and the airport BND 10. They also organise affordable boat tours from a jetty just a minute away, passing through Kampong Ayer, looking for crocodiles and proboscis monkeys, and going under the Sultan Haji Omar Ali Saifuddien Bridge, one of the longest bridges in Southeast Asia. The gentleman on the evening shift (didn't get his name :-( ) was exceptionally friendly and gave great recommendations on what to see, where to eat, and which local dishes to try. The room was larger and nicer than expected, the hot water and AC worked well, and the breakfast was delicious. I didn't get a chance to use the gym, but overall this was an excellent last-minute booking and a great base for exploring Brunei.

Very nice place, lots of restaurants nearby and about 20-30 minutes walk to the city center plus one of the most beautiful mosque is about 10 minutes walking (you can see the roof of the mosque from the breakfast area), we enjoyed our stay!
Extra bonus: buffet breakfast included 😋 and the hotel offer boat tours which are very convenient as the country is not very turistic.

Lots of shops around, the cafe had good breakfast, the overall area is clean.
The lights in my room. I don’t like that the room light switch also controls the barhroom light. Turning off the room light would turn off the bathroom light. So we had to resort to using our hp lights when we want to go to the bathroom late at night
Very spacious and comfy room. We really enjoyed our time here. Even got an upgrade for one of the room we booked.

The room was large and comfortable, lots of storage space, comfortable bed. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Location was good, lots of restaurants and shops right there, and just a short taxi to the city center.
