Parenthèse enchantée
Pros:

Marina et sa famille sont super gentils, attentifs et intentionnés. Son fils m'a répondu immédiatement, pour organiser le transport depuis San José et nous donner des bons conseils. Ils ont tout organisé des tours supers avec Juanita qui est une super guide !
Le rapport qualité prix est excellent 👌

Lo mejor del alojamiento, su dueña Marina. Nos soluciono un problema que tuvimos con una excursion (lo mejor es hacerlo todo con ella). La habitacion estaba limpia y no se necesita mucho mas.

Tolle Zeit in Tortuguero
Pros:

Die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber und hell und die Klimaanlage wunderbar und leise.
Marina war sehr hilfsbereit und das Frühstück wurde frisch zubereitet (Eier mit Toast). Sie hat uns mit Juanita einen tolle Guide für die Ausflüge empfohlen und können das bitte jedem weiterempfehlen.
Im Vergleich zu allen anderen Kosten war die Unterkunft ein sehr gutes Preis Leistung Verhältnis.
Wir haben die Dichte zum Strand und die ruhige Lage etwas „außerhalb“ - 5 Minuten zu Fuß vom Ortskern - sehr genossen.

Overall a nice experience, but below our expectations
Pros:

Breakfast was good and nice, Marina the host was very friendly, and I managed to communicate with her in Spanish although my Spanish is not that great. The place is in the northern end of the little village of Tortuguero and one minute walk from the ocean, which is nice.

Cons:

The room is tiny - thankfully, we left our suitcase in the car in La Pavona because there would be no place to open it in the room. We had issues with hot water in the shower. In general, the amenities are too poor: the sink is tiny, the towels are made of some material which does not really absorb water, the shower was not clean enough and it seems like the small bathroom carpet almost never gets cleaned. We stayed for two nights, and the room was not cleaned in the middle. It was nice to have a small drip coffee maker in the room, but there was no place to put it in a way that reaches the outlet in the wall.

Cute place with lovely water views
Pros:

The view of the lake is amazing good for spotting wildlife and the boat takes you there on arrival and you can take a kayak trip from the property too.
Close to the beach and staff were lovely and helpful

Cons:

We are a family of 4 ,
2 teenagers the room was really only just doable at 3 people
We had no space in the room to move so after 3 nights we’re ready to go
The pillows were so uncomfortable even though it’s a budget type place I don’t understand why the pillows have to be like rock hard square blocks so we didn’t sleep the best there

Acierto total
Pros:

El alojamiento es el mejor de Tortugero. Aire acondicionado, camas grandes y cómodas, TV con Netflix etc… cafetera etc… una pasada de sitio.
Doña Marina es una señora que desde que llegas hasta que te vas te lee los pensamientos. Parecíamos familia, cocina muy bien, atenta, son una familia muy grande y llevan allí toda la vida por lo que cuando llegas te sientes en tu casa. Su hermana es la mejor guía de todo tortuguero. JUANITA es su nombre.
Kendal su hijo un fuera de serie en organización de excursiones, llegada etc…
No suelo escribir, pero lo que nos encontramos con esta familia fue espectacular, solo puedo decir GRACIAS y un hasta pronto familia.

La ubicación era excelente, todo estaba muy limpio. Lo gestiona doña marina robles, toda una profesional que te consigue todo lo que necesites ,y siempre con una sonrisa. Su hijo kendal es comunicativo y resolutivo y su tía juanita la mejor guía que pueden encontrar, una auténtica apasionada de la naturaleza y flexible. Si van a tortuguero no duden en reservar este alojamiento y pónganse en manos de la familia Robles 😀

Ens hem enamorat de la Marina, un tracte inmillorable que fa que et sentis com a casa. Al estar situat dins el poble de Tortuguero pots sentir-te per uns dies un TICO més.

Algunos detalles como la falta de perchas o percheros, ni siquiera en el baño para las toallas. El lavabo minúsculo, y algún que otro detalle que podría solventarse fácilmente.

- Relação Qualidade-Preço muito boa.
- Barco de ligação Pavona-Tortuguero deixa-nos no cais ao lado do quarto, o que facilita bastante o transporte das malas.
- Quem nos recebeu e acolheu nesta aventura: Marina! Uma pessoa bastante prestável que até ajudou a preparar uma surpresa para a minha mulher.

Cons:

Zona de pequeno almoço longe do quarto, o que numa situação de chuva, pode tornar-se desagradável, mas perfeitamente ultrapassável.

Pros:

Marina was a welcoming host. As she only speaks Spanish, we had to get creative in communicating but it worked out in the end. The location of the hotel is great, a few minutes walk away from the hussle and bussle of the centre but still close to everything. It was good the have the AC as it can get quite hot. We loved the fact that the boat dropped us off right in front of the hotel. The breakfast was simple but good, and for this price you can't go wrong. Watching the sunset from the terrace was great, and the like the fact that we had a personal outdoor space and a fridge. The beach is only steps away.

Cons:

Our room was too small for 4 people. It should really only be used as a double, or maybe for three people if they are travelling with a child. We booked a quadruple room for two adults and two teenagers and it was so cramped that we barely had floorspace to put our bags. One of the kids slept on a fullsize pull out bed, next to the big bed. The other one slept on a sofabed that was a bit too short and not really suitable for sleeping. The bathroom was also tiny, which is no problem for 2 people but for 4 it was a challenge. So make sure to check well what type of room you have before booking.
