Extremely attentive and friendly staff. Perfect for cycling on the EV4 cycle route.
Pros:

We arrived on bikes to the hotel. Our bikes were stored in a secure shed. The lady who checked us in was friendly and very helpful for information and arranged a table in the restaurant. The staff were highly attentive both at evening meal and breakfast. Breakfast was very well presented and tasty. Before we left, our water bottles were filled with cold water and ice.

Cons:

On the booking.com website we booked a quadruple room as stated on the booking form and receipt. Our room had twin beds and a bed settee. This was not as we expected from the booking .

Good stop off on way South after the afternoon arrival of the Caen ferry from Portsmouth.
Pros:

Friendly and comfortable if a bit worn. Securely parking for motorbike which was appreciated. Adjoining restaurant and garden which was great food and good value.

Lovely grounds and ambience of the property. A real country feel...apart from the big road in front. Nice atmosphere. A nice meal in the restaurant

Cons:

So only luke warm water but it was a hot day and that was ok although I might have liked the choice. No ventilator in the room although we were promised one. All tea making things in the room except a kettle. Maybe we needed to ask for that too? Only jam at breakfast. Cheese avaliable for an extra cost. As we're eggs. But only in batches of 3. Seriously?

J'ai apprécié le style du bâtiment, la restauration et le déco intérieur du restaurant, plus particulièrement la cuisine ouverte avec cheminé en bois, ça donne une ambiance chaleureuse. De plus, l'équipe est accueillant

Certains équipements méritent d'être changés car sont abimés (ex : lampe de chevet). Au petit déjeuner, tout n'a pas été expliqué d'avance, par exemple, je n'avais pas eu l'info qu'on peut commander des choses qui ne sont pas présentées au buffet en payant un supplément (oeuf à la coque ou sur plat).
