Orika del Mar Hotel

Las cabañas donde te alojas son muy justas.... Está en una isla con bastantes animales, si no te asusta que pueda entrar una cucaracha, murciélago, o toparte con un cangrejo... Adelante. Cuentan con mosquiteras y ventiladores.... Si te gusta un poco la aventura, adelante!

El agua y la electricidad no funcionan por el día si no hay sol, pero para nosotros no fue inconveniente.

Nicht buchen! Bungalow 2 teilt man mit einer Fledermaus, Kakerlaken und Krabben. Fast den ganzen Tag kein Strom und fließendes Wasser. Toilette ohne fließendes Wasser nicht abziehbar. Sauberkeit ekelhaft.

Be aware it is definitely an “eco lodge” type vibe compared to the beach clubs you pass on the boat on the way there. The other guy on my boat saw the place and immediately left to go somewhere else. The rooms are basic and a bit tired. There was reptile poo on the mosquito net. I didn’t see or hear any bats in my hut. But I did have the fans on full blast. The electricity and water would turn off for at least an hour a day around 5pm exactly when you want a shower after the beach. The huts are so dark without light too. Last day was given unfiltered water in an old 5L bottle to use but told I couldn’t take it away with me home (as if I would want to 😅) the kitchen looked really dirty and there were flies everywhere there was also a mangy cat that would jump up on tables. Despite this the food wasn’t so bad and I surprisingly didn’t get food poisoning. When you order food the kitchen staff kind of look at you as if you have 3 heads and are an inconvenience but I wasn’t sure whether they were just shy and they don’t speak any English at all. There are no snacks to buy at all which is a shame. I was told on arrival I had to pay for my room with card only unlike anywhere else in Colombia. And then the card machine wouldn’t work as the WiFi was dodgy. You pay for all activities food drink at the end which confusingly I was able to pay for with cash. It was not cheap and I wouldn’t say it was good value. However unsure if spending my time in a tiktok beach club vibe would’ve been preferable either.

1. De kamer was anders dan verwacht, donker, zonder uitzicht en het regende in de kamer. Insecten konden ook heel makkelijk naar binnenkomen. Er zat een grote kakkerlak aan de binnenkant van de klamboe, en we werden wakker van de kakkerlak die over ons heen liep.
2. Het personeel was vaak niet vriendelijk, en gaf ons geen welkom gevoel. Ze waren niet gastvrij, het leek alsof ze je niet wilden helpen. Dit veranderde toen we medische hulp nodig hadden, gelukkig was ze toen zeer behulpzaam.
3. Er hing een vreemde sfeer in het hotel. Er waren nauwelijks andere toeristen en iedereen keek ons erg aan.
4. We kwamen aan met honger, en moesten 1,5 uur wachten op ons eten en de drankjes. We hadden wraps met ei en groenten besteld, maar kregen wraps met in olie doordrenkte groentes.

Tout! Chauve souris dans la.chambre, excrements de chauve souris sur le.filet, trou dans les murs et dans le.plafomd, la toilette toujours bloquée, et jamais ils ne sont venus la réparer, punaise de lit 🤢
Loin de tout! Pas de.plage! Marche de une heure pour se rendre à la.plage

Aucun service.aucun sourire jamais vu ça en Colombie où nous sommes rester plusieurs semaines. Franchement c'est une honte. Ils n'ont jamais voulu nous dédommager pour quoi que ce soit

Personnel très désagréable (Sauf le cuisinier, le seul à dire bonjour) et responsable condescendante
Chambre sale, moustiquaire (trouée et sale) non installée malgré les alertes de l'hôtel sur la présence de moustiques, excréments d'animaux, salle de bain inondée en permanence.
Multiples coupures d'électricité et eau, générateur qui tourne régulièrement avec gaz d'échappement et odeurs d'hydrocarbures qui envahissaient la chambre au point de devoir en sortir
Espace commun vétuste (transat) et pas assez nombreux pour le nombre de chambres.
Tables pour se restaurer sales, minimum 1h d'attente pour un plat.
Pas de plage, photos trompeuses, juste une petite avancée en béton. Passage de bateau en continu, à quelques mètres, limitant la baignade à environ 5m.
Le chemin pour se rendre au village est rempli de déchets, ce qui ne rend en rien cette balade agréable

Punaise de lit, nous sommes infestés , toutes ma famille et moi mes enfants ma mère mon mari, deux nuits d'horreur ! Grosses coquerelles dans la.chambre, filet troués et souillés, aucun service , aucun sourire , ça ne vaut pas le prix, vaut mieux payer plus cher et être mieux traité. Ils n'ont jamais voulu nous dédommager pour les désagréments, nourriture vraiment ordinaire.mieux vaut aller manger au village orika. Ah aucune plage non plus! Le seul point positif l'activité de plancton, le garçon très.gentil pour l'activité ce fut notre seul bon moment

El error fue quedarnos 4 noches, como mucho vale la pena 2 noches en las islas. El pueblo Orika está destartalado y es todo carísimo porque lo compran de fuera. Dicen que es un parque nacional, pero algunas zonas son un basurero. No hay mucho que hacer, salvo alguna excursión, que también son caras.
Estuvimos 4 noches sin que nos limpiaran la habitación.

I strongly advise against staying at this property due to severe health and safety concerns, a complete lack of cleanliness, and unacceptable customer service.
Upon checking into our bungalow (number 2), we immediately noticed a foul stench of animal urine and feces. The overall cleanliness was appalling - the provided towels were dirty, and there were multiple bugs crawling all over the floor. The situation escalated when we noticed a significant amount of animal droppings on top of the bed's mosquito net. Later in the evening, we discovered the source: a live bat hanging upside down from the roof inside our room.
Because bat contact carries a strict risk of rabies, and inhaling bat guano is highly dangerous to human health, we absolutely refused to sleep in that room. Appallingly, the hotel management did not offer us an alternative room or bungalow. As a result, we were forced to spend the entire night sleeping outside in the property's hammocks without any mosquito nets or proper bedding.
To make matters worse, the hotel outright refused to refund us for the night, stating that it was "our choice" not to sleep in the room. Expecting guests to sleep in a filthy room with wild, potentially rabid animals is completely unacceptable. Avoid this place if you value your health, hygiene, and safety.
