Great location and staff very helpful
Mattress was very very firm
Young boy in the reception was very nice and since he asked to give a good review, I decided to give 5 points because of him, instead 2, so I think its fare.
Also, one lady in the reception was friendly when we left, offering us some water.
The room was ok clean, I guess. We did find sheets to be yellow and stained and used things in the bathroom and lot of small ants everywhere.
Can't say much more positive things about this place.
I don't know why it's marketed as 3 Stars Hotel if it is missing most facilities to pass as 3 Stars, it's more like 2 Star property.
We probably arrived at the wrong time when a bunch of people were screaming at each other in the reception, and we were ignored 15 minutes until my partner asked if we could check-in from an older guy behind the reception, who could not care less that we were there. Sitting his feet up on the table, he gestured us to wait and finally lead us to the room, asked money, gave us a key, and left. Strangest check-in we have never had in a hotel.
We have been looking for a hotel to stay in the middle of the street for 2 hours previously after being scammed from our originally booked accommodation, and this was definitely not how we wanted to be greeted.
Room itself is OK, I guess, but since it's next to the big road and windows don't even have glass, it's very noisy (cars love to honk in Vietnam), also the bed is harder than a rock, just a super hard skinny mattress on a wooden platform, very uncomfortable to sleep on. I am also confused as to why we had a used soap, comb, and empty toothpaste left in our bathroom.
I would give it a higher review if it was marked as 2 Star property and priced according. My expectations would be lower, BUT to pay 1 million VND a night for a property worse than some hostels, it's not nice. (We did arrive last minute on a public holiday, so I guess hotels can overcharge a lot that day).
Bed is big
It seems clean
•The owner kept touching me, also in the face when she talked to me.
•They provide you with water bottles that have already been opened, and have probably been refilled with tab water. Please don't drink anything from preopened bottles in this country, it can be really dangerous.
•They insited I would give them my passport to rent a (much too expensive) motorbike. This is outragous given I'm a guest of the hotel, and it's illegal to not carry your passport as a foreigner in Vietnam.
•They state that a washing machine is included with the room, but there isn't one, instead they want to charge you to use the one of the hotel
•When you use the shower it floods the whole bathroom, which is why I slipped and fell when I used the toiled in the night.
The stay made me feel really uncomfortable, especially the behaviour of the woman, who seemed to think she can treat me like some child she didn't like. So I checked out one day earlier.
