Pros:

The place was perfect. Perfect breakfast. Personal was perfect.

The walls are likemade of the paper. You hear everything. If your neighbour sneezes you hear it, be sure 😄

Pros:

Et gammelpreget men ivaretatt hotell som passer fint inn i fjorden det ligger i. Valldal er en fin og rolig plass, vi var der fra mandag til tirsdag i fellesferien. Stor og god seng. Enkel og god frokostservering.

Cons:

To veldig små ting bare.
Iløpet av vårt korte opphold så var det kun engelsktalende personale, som for enkelte gjør terskelen for å spørre om tips og triks litt høyere.
Rommet var uten TV, noe vi som foretrekker å bare komme til hotellet og slappe av med hjernedød underholdning før neste dag, bruker for å koble av.

Sekeltids Charm De Luxe.
Pros:

Mycket charmigt gammalt 1800-tals hotel som blivit renoverat i riktig sekelskifts stil och tidsenliga äldre möbler. Ligger beläget på bästa plats nere vid hamnen. Personalen var fantastisk och vi fick en egen rundvandring av tjejen i receptionen när vi anlände. Frukosten var enkel men fullt tillräcklig.

Cons:

Det är väldigt, väldigt lyhört här. Du hör grannens prat utan att de skriker, men det är att vänta av ett snart 150 år gammalt hus.
Inget hotel för barnfamiljer.

Sympaattinen, kauniisti remontoitu hotelli. Henkilökunta ystävällistä ja hyvä aamupala.

Cons:

Huoneissa joissa on yhteinen pesuhuone olisi mukava olla aamutossut ja takit. Lisäksi käsipaperia tulisi olla vessassa. Huoneissa ei ole roskakoreja.
Lähistöllä on hyvin vähän ruokapaikkoja ja ne harvat mitä on oli useimmiten täyteen bookattu. Olisi hyvä jos hotellissa olisi iltaisin tarjolla jotain ruokaa.

Hôtel "historique" vraiment très beau ! On a l'impression de voyager dans le temps tout en ayant le confort d'une belle rénovation. Lit très confortable mais notre chambre était cependant un peu petite. Le WC était placé très très près du lavabo de plus la suspension luminaire centrale ne fonctionnait pas. Très bon petit déjeuner dans une belle salle à manger.

Beautifully restored hotel in a beautiful location.
Pros:

Beautifully restored hotel. Amazing breakfast. Extremely friendly staff. Lovely outdoor seating area. Coffee, tea and cookies provided all day.

Cons:

The bed was like a giant marshmallow. It was too soft and very hard to get out of. Because this is a very old hotel, the noise level was very bad. We had the family suite above us and it literally sounded like people were dropping suitcases and stomping around. This is not the fault of the hotel, but it makes it very difficult to sleep when that much noise is going on above you.
