Location
Very overpriced. Room disappointing. Bathroom verging on unusable
UBICACION Y LA HABITACIÓN
El desayuno no era variado y no había casi nada de fruta
Room was excellent , location good, Breakfast and restaurant catering was poor.
Breakfast staff only waiting for the last so they could go home !!!
Restaurant menu poor
Catering
La ubicación inmejorable
Si bien la habitación estaba muy bien faltaba aire acondicionado
Good central location and everything walkable
Really friendly stuff and a good check-in process. However the first room they gave me had no aircon, no windows that could open and was incredibly smelly and stuffy. The corridors also smelt quite stale and unventilated with an old looking carpet.
Very noisy area so you could hear music into the night, especially Friday night where there was a guy drumming outside until about 1:30 a.m. (didn't stay Saturday but I assume the same).
Once the location is good and price reasonable, this has to be weighed up against the noise factor. This was quite a lot more intrusive and louder than other places I've stayed in city centres.
The room was a bit dated in style, colour scheme and general look and feel. The cleanliness of the hotel was good however.
Breakfast was excellent as I read the reviews so I got there early when it was hot and plentiful
How the key card work which I didn't know as you had to put into a slot to get everything working .
Weird design plugs
Dirty surfaces everywhere. Kettle that was wobbly
Bathroom doors that you had to slam loudly too close. Tea Coffee facilities in a cup, which was dirty, plus no milk? TV that took 5 to 6 minutes to come on, which was weird.
Central location
Noise from night club up to 2am
Insignia de los Beatles
Breakfast was ok
Didn't like Drummer Boy at the top of Matthew Street constantly drumming until 2.00am - surely the police could move him on - he disrupts sleep with his loud constant drumming. Would not recommend this hotel location if this Drummer Boy is always on Matthew Street.
Location , very up market , stylish
No breakfast option offered , air con down other end of bedroom was very hot
Location and a great breakfast
Run down in desperate need of refurbishment. Balcony was rickety and outside furniture filthy with bird mess and grime.
Everything
All good
Great venue close to everything. We had a function there as well and the staff couldn't have been more helpful and accomodating.
Location cannot be beaten, the bar is clean and good quality.
We had an upgrade, in the room we had there was an adjoining room, the two guests in that room could clearly be heard talking, and when they came back late at night it was quite loud.
The breakfast on the first morning was not good. There was little choice, told pastries would be 30 mins, coffee machine was not working, although when we mentioned it to reception they gave us a refund.
