mostly pleasant stay with comfy beds and polite friendly cheerful staff. reasonable price.
Pros:

breakfast very good
pub menu very good and food nice.
beds comfortable.

Cons:

Taps in bathroom in room really loose and awkward to use.
Too many cats around and lot of flies in the pub eating areas and in conservatory.
would be better to have some fly control.
very early morning wakeup with some star guy smashing bottles and raking them around in the glass disposal bin. why necessary at that time of day waking guests up at a very early hour.?

Beautiful traditional family run pub
Pros:

Everything - plenty of secure parking - accommodation is in self contained block around the back - pub has a great ambiance - family run all hands on deck which was brilliant, they had time for their guests - great food and plenty of different areas to eat, inside and out - would definitely recommend 😊

Pleasant place to stay but disappointing.
Pros:

Very spacious clean twin room and en-suite with Tea and Coffee facilities. Friendly staff. Nice traditional pub in a quiet very pleasant location.

Cons:

Evening meal and breakfast was a disappointment. Rib Eye Steaks were thin, dry and pretty tasteless @ £28. Kippers for breakfast was again a real disappointment @£11 - three thin strips of overcooked kipper with a small amount of bread. Tea and Coffee was not good either. Sorry to say the quality of food was average at best and didn't represent value for money. Limited wine choices.
