The very friendly staff of the whole hotel. From manager till luggage carrier/cleaner. The hotel was clean, the food is amazing, the views are great.

Beautiful property. Has some amazing views of sunrise. Breakfast was good too.
A little at height, and away from market, but tuktuk etc. Can be arranged if required.
The manager decided to visit our room during our breakfast. Fortunately my wife went back to our room early and caught him in the act. He was going through our belongings. His first reaction: I didnt take anything! She was just in time but scared shitless. Worst experience ever.
Managers with the intention to steal is never a plus. Contacted the owner, he apologized but that doesn’t do any good.
De unieke kubusvormige kamers geven deze accommodatie echt iets bijzonders. Het uitzicht vanaf het terrein is prachtig en de rustige omgeving zorgt ervoor dat je even helemaal kunt ontspannen.
De toegangsweg is behoorlijk steil en kan in het donker of bij regen wat minder comfortabel zijn.

特にありませんが、室内に蜂が紛れ込んでしまいました。
虫除けや虫が出た場合の殺虫剤など部屋に常備していだけると安心できます。
Room space and facilities.
The main door had a gap when its closed. Outsiders can peep into it.
Bathroom has a foul smell, and later found worms or leaches near the closet as there a leak in the closet.
AC has water leakage and water was continuously dripping throughout the night.
Shower water is either too hot or cold, cannot get continuous warm water.

Un poco alejado del centro pero en una zona muy tranquila
Mooie ruime kamer met een heel mooi uitzicht. Locatie was goed en personeel heel aardig. Ze hadden de kamer leuk versierd voor mijn jarige vrouw.
Douche was wat lastig te regelen qua temperatuur. Daarnaast waren ze flink aan het bouwen naast het hotel, waardoor we erg vroeg wakker werden van een naar geluid.
Hotel looked quite different - boutique style setup with great views of the hills.
Breakfast was very good - they have choices between Sri Lankan & English/Continental, and we went for the Sri Lankan, and they treated us with fresh string hoppers and pol roti and a great curry and other condiments. Truly a good experience.
The room also had a beautiful feel to it- quite spacious and thoughtful touches.
Room service also was very good - we had our dinner in room, which was very delicious.

We had a wonderful stay at The Ella Cubes and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Ella.
The rooms are modern, spacious, beautifully designed, and offer some of the most stunning views you could wish for. Waking up to the scenery each morning was an absolute highlight of our trip. The hotel is located around 1 km from the main centre of Ella, but this is easily managed with a driver or a quick tuk-tuk ride, and the peaceful location is well worth it.
What truly makes this place special, however, is the incredible team. The owner is a jovial and welcoming gentleman who clearly takes pride in the hotel. The young lady at reception was always warm, friendly, and eager to help. The staff who assisted with our luggage were equally kind and attentive.
Our favourite person, though, was Sidharshan. He is quite simply the epitome of what a human being should be—kind, genuine, thoughtful, and always willing to go above and beyond. His warmth and hospitality made our stay even more memorable.
The entire team was extremely accommodating in every way. They even arranged for our laundry to be completed within 24 hours at a very reasonable cost, which was greatly appreciated during our travels.
We honestly loved our stay here. The Ella Cubes is a true gem in Ella, combining beautiful accommodation, breathtaking views, and some of the best hospitality we have experienced. We would not hesitate to stay again.

I honestly cannot fault this accommodation. Everything was perfect. From the incredibly welcoming, friendly and helpful staff, to the amazing food from the onsite cafe (a magnificent breakfast included) and the clean and comfortable rooms. The bathroom was spotless, the bed was comfortable and there were lots of condiments in the room which was thoughtful. The staff made our experience so special because of how lovely they were. From the moment we arrived until the second we left, we felt so at home. I couldn’t recommend enough. We will always cherish our stay in Ella and remember these beautiful people and their exceptional hospitality.
It’s a short tuk tuk from the main town which didn’t bother us because staying at the accomodation was worth the short trip but some guests may look for somewhere closer to town.
