Cons:

Das Hotel verfügt über keine Klimaanlage. Im Normalfall sollte das kein Problem sein. Wir waren jedoch in einem Rekordsommer mit ausserordentlichen Temperaturen da. Unser Zimmer war sehr heiss, das alleine wäre kein Problem, aber die Art der Fenster sowie das helle Licht auf dem Parkplatz haben verhindert, dass man richtig durchlüften konnte. Das Hotelpersonal hat uns zwar freundlicherweise zusätzliche Ventilatoren zur Verfügung gestellt, das hat jedoch nicht sehr viel gebracht.

Beautiful historic property close to the city center but you feel like you are in the National Park.
Pros:

Amazing quiet and private location adjacent to the National Park with stunning views. The hotel is like a museum with much of its history documented throughout with photos and written history.

Cons:

The two restaurants would be wise to allow diners to order off of either menu. The Lakeside Bistro was always crowded with a wait and a moderately priced menu, but Hilda’s, the upscale option, was nearly empty with higher priced options that were frankly less appealing. We ate in Hilda’s only because of the long wait at the Bistro but were told we could only order off their menu (same kitchen) even though people at the table next to us had ordered from the Bistro menu.

Beautiful, grounds, and staff!
Pros:

Breakfast was great - excellent and varied choices. Bar staff and wait staff were super accommodating. Grounds were lovely.

Cons:

While out of the hotel’s control, the door banging in nearby rooms was irritating.

Pros:

Very helpful staff. It's a big hotel but everything remained very smooth. Location is very nice.

Cons:

The room was super warm. With windows opened and fan on, and despite a max 20°C outside, we couldn't get the temperature down. Also the bathroom only had a fixed shower which is not always the most convenient, especially with young children.

Nous avons adoré le cadre magnifique ce cet établissement où en vous promenant dans le parc, vous pouvez croiser des biches et des faons.
